Joy's Blog From The Road

OK, so I am a little remiss on my writing lately.  Well, I have a few things on my mind.  One was that vicious attack on Joy and the long discussion that followed after she wrote about seeing our friend Steve.

It wasn't that brief visit that sparked the long and passionate comments, it was actually some of the comments themselves.  Those comments were made by Molly Rose and Kshanti - two adults.

Joy wrote about the concern she and others had for those two (and other children of SRF) and that she is glad things were working out for them despite the long hours working at night, working at the "SRF Farm" and being alienated from one or more of their parents.

Me, I thought they were two of the most naturally intelligent kids I ever saw.  They are at their core good and admirable young women.  I'm still concerned about what they went through.  They seem somewhat ambivalent about their childhood now, even though they express so much anger and frustration towards us and assault our concerns about their childhood.  It's pretty normal actually.  Janya Lalich and Madeline Tobias say anger is one of the first things you experience when you start confronting the kind of experience we had at SRF.  And as we have all seen, often times anger is displaced.

So we are the targets of their anger.  That is fine with me.  I wrote about how proud I feel that they are living great lives.  I hope that hit them right where they live.  They both know how much I cared about them.  Maybe you did as well.  Kshanti backed off and wished us well.  Molly has at least shut the hell up and is finding other ways to express her frustration, I guess.

Ironically, while they call Joy's blog and her YouTube Videos "immature and whiny" their responses are anything but mature and objective.  Besides, Joy was not only expressing her own outrage in a manner that was controlled and heartfelt, who expects a YouTube vlog to look like Anderson Cooper?

But what's the point of this post?

Hell, I'm not really sure.

To me, just as we got really, really pissed off when we realized what happened to us, our friends and family because of the abusive and exploitative behavior at SRF, I get the sense that those two may be realizing something themselves.  Maybe they are also realizing what is happening to their mother and what happened to them.  Maybe even their father (who suffered more than any man deserves).

But unlike us, they have strong emotional ties to a key member of SRF - a member who is the heir-apparent to the dysfunctional throne as well as to the others at the top of the trash heap.  So if I am wrong about the whole thing, I would not be surprised.  I still want to give them all the latitude I can.  And because of their circumstances, I am quicker to forgive them than some others still there (and you probably know who I am talking about).

But what is happening to the SRF morass?  It's pretty obvious they are not as strong as before, with sagging membership and less interest.  They are currently holding some kind of Intuitive Arts Festival where you can get two readings and sleep through FIVE lectures for $30.

I don't know about you, but I can get a nice afternoon nap for a lot less than that.

Who knows if anyone will show up.  Even if no one does, the membership will be browbeat to attend in force so Debi, Rick and whoever else can blather on and on about stuff that even the members are tired of hearing.

Even if people pack the house, where does the money go?

An anonymous commenter said in "God Doesn't Let The Left Hand Know What The Right Hand Is Doing" that there are two ledgers - one for the IRS, one for the leaders.  Can you guess which might be the accurate one?

I'd love to hear from that person - even anonymously.  Send me email or call.  Post an anonymous comment, even.  I don't name anyone who is anonymous (in fact one of the demands of the SRF lawsuit was they wanted us to name anyone who commented here - that is why we fought them so hard).

Was that information a rumor?  Was it based on something he or she saw?  Or maybe it was common knowledge among the inner circle.  I'm not sure.

I am sure that if true, that behavior is something that you would expect from the Witches of Ellsworth (apart from their habit of personally destroying the soul and spirit of their victims).  The only thing left to wonder is if they will be held accountable for that action in this life or the next.  Or maybe both.

Regardless, take a look at the post that started the whole controversy.  Right after this, we received the cease and desist letter from Attorney William Rogers (the cult mouthpiece) and later, a defamation lawsuit.  Obviously we beat them back to the gates of hell where they belong giving them a humiliating defeat and validating all that is said here.

And we have shown that not only can we NOT be silenced, the truth prevails and the "free exercise clause" of the First Amendment doesn't insulate SRF from their own misdeeds nor does it prevent the public from hearing our side of the SRF story.

And do me a favor, click on those links in underlined text.  You'll find they link to other articles you may not have seen before or may want to see again.

On the road still coming back from our visit with Steve Sanchez. We had a wonderful visit. It was absolutely warming to see him again after so many years. He was as I remembered him, friendly, corgile, active and earnest. It is amazing how he was able to pick himself up after all that had happened to him, remarry a wonderful woman and start a new family. An inspiration to us all.

We talked about many things, some of which I will not discuss right now. However I was able to to ask him some questions about his book. He described some of the process of writing it. He tried to place himself in the past and then write in present tense. Capturing his
awareness and thoughts at the time was challenging but he felt gave the book an interesting perspective as he told his story.

He wrote his book as a way of
reclaiming his experiences and embracingthat part of himself and his life. I appreciated this as this resonates with me as to why I am writing on my blog. To write and finally be able to expose the lies and suppression's of the leaders and members of the Spiritual Rights Foundation is a freeing and healing experience. It is hard for many people to understand why we do this, what compels us to put ourselves out there to face criticism and possible threats. It is because we are breaking the cycle of deceit, abuse and mind control. I went through 14 years of intense reprogramming at the Spiritual Rights Foundation and ISHIHypnosis. It is about time I speak up for me and the rest of the victims that have passed through the spiritual perversion that is Bill Duby, Angela Silva and Robin DuMolin.

Hey Joy,

I saw you got married, and I heard it was a really beautiful ceremony.
I’m very happy for you two!

When two people fall in love and decide to spend their life together, it’s a really great thing. However, I was under the impression that a marriage is about growing with each other. Focusing on the future that you two are building together. It saddens me to see that your apparent form of bonding is to obsess over your past, and in the process hurt and try to discredit all the people you used to be closest to.

Seems to me it would be beneficial to focus more on your relationship, or ‘relationshit’ as some of your friends have called it. I hear it could use some help.

I guess that’s what can be expected, when a relationship spends so much time focusing on tearing other people down.

Karma is a bitch.

Anyways, I would really appreciate it if you kept my name, and my mom and sister’s name, out of your mouth.

Honestly, it’s just plain disrespectful. As the adult in this situation, you should know better.

It would seem you do know better. You say yourself that you “do not desire to hurt a particular person,” which is a lie if I ever saw it.

Your blogs disclaimer even says, “At no time is the intent of this blog to harm, ridicule or libel any organization or person living or deceased.”

So why is it that the majority of your blog is a desperate scramble to tear people down? Get a life.

You’re name-calling gets old pretty quick. So does seeing my mom be accused of forcing me and my sister into child labor, neglecting me, watching me be sexually molested and/or physically abused and all the other ridiculous bullshit your spewing out.

Furthermore, you have childishly dedicated an entire site to ruining my mom's reputation as a hypnotist. While I realize you must be disgruntled over something, this is the real world. You can’t just go attack someone because they upset you some how.

On a similar not, Bill is deceased.

I guess for someone so cowardly, it’s much more fun to insult, accuse, degrade and name call someone who has passed away. After all, they can’t fight back. I’ll that makes you feel really big and strong. Well it’s been 8 years since he died; you tired of soiling his name yet?

Have some respect for me, my family, friends, and your own dignity, and stop lying.

I was in no way abused, molested, brainwashed or forced into child labor.

I had a great childhood. I received a solid education, had a puppy, birds, fish, rode horses, went on road trips, out to movies, to Disneyland, camping, went snowboarding, took karate, swimming, gymnastics classes. . . Basically all the normal, fun kid thinks you seem to be so certain I missed out on, I had. So thanks for your concern but I was, and am, perfectly fine.

This little vendetta of yours is more nauseating then high school drama.

Yes I guess I should mention that even as a child of this so-called ‘evil, horrific, mind controlling, mini-empire of a cult’, I attended public high school.

I even somehow managed to graduate with honors, as president of the speech & debate club, winner of numerous awards, and editor of the yearbook. (When I had free time from all that back breaking forced child labor, of course) And now, as a sophomore in college, I am editor-in-chief of the college’s award-winning newspaper (still bringing home JACC and VFW awards, might I add,) and on the board of officers and historian for the schools largest club.

Three cheers for brainwashing, I guess?

I’m sure you’ll also be happy to hear that my older sister, who you refer to as being “lost in the world,” is also doing fantastic as a manager at a well-known resort.

In fact, all of the children that you said had been brainwashed, abused, neglected and/or not allowed a proper education are doing just as well. Whether they are in college, owning their own businesses or traveling. They are all thriving.

Joy, your blog’s and video casts come off as immature and whiny.

I’ll admit I have only scanned through a few of them. They’re dull, and the videos are laden with enough “Umms” to make me want knock myself over the head. Maybe they do get a little more interesting. I don’t have the time or desire to find out.

Is it really necessary to spend so much of your time in front of a video camera obsessing over how broken and wounded you feel you are, and reading Steve’s book out loud?

I think Steve can handle his own advertising. In fact, as a courtesy to him you should probably refrain from helping. I’m not sure your whiny and sloppy (even comedic, though I realize that’s unintentional on your part.) PR is helping his book sales.

And after seeing one video where you cut and pasted little dolls together of my mom, dad and godfather, to ‘act out’ scenes from Steve’s book I’m really starting to question your mental stability. I’m honestly saddened by how ridiculous you’re acting.

I think its time for you to stop spending so much time with your computer and reading into a camera. (I mean, come one, you chimed in the new year with your video camera.)

I realize that’s the only thing you can probably get to sit still long enough to listen to your whining, but still you might find that the outside world can be interesting, too.

Anything is going to be more interesting then playing with paper dolls for some weird desperate youtube puppet show.

With hopes that you soon grow up and get on with your life,

Wow. You know, I had hope that all this talk about "the blogs" was a bunch of hype... Just something that was "fabricated" by the "Cult members" as a way to make it seem like everyone really was against them.. Because that's what it's about, right? All you Reformed Ex Members, banning together in name of a just cause. All of you who were so wrongly abused and mistreated... Now you blog to get over it... Guess what, every time you take time out of your day (and from the looks of it, you take quite a bit of time out. Must be nice to have that much to spare) you're only re-energizing your, clearly, fucked up past... But, oh shit. There i go, regurgitating all the stuff that I've been brainwashed to believe... Maybe it's true, maybe not.. I guess the "real world" will have to be the judge of that.

What have you done with your life since freeing yourself of all those spiritual, mind-washing Bastards? You're clearly working on your public speaking skills- good for you. When you're preaching on the steps of the Washington Monument and really making a difference, I'll be sure to think "damn, guess i guessed that one wrong"...

Aside from all your Blogging, what else do you really have that's so great? From what I've heard, Happily Ever After isn't all it's cracked up to be... but then, how can it be when the common bond is that you both seem to love talking smack about people and things that are beyond your comprehension...

As for the people you've chosen to try to "bring down"... For all the talk you've done about the so called abuse of children at the Cult... Way to bring them into it. You'd think that someone so concerned with the well being of young and innocent children would be a little more thoughtful before saying some of the things you have. But, who am i to say. I don't know anything. I've been brain washed all my life to only think and do what the cult says i can... Oh wait- except for that time that at my first "real job" i was promoted to supervisor and in charge of a staff of 45, at the age of 18... Then, the next season, promoted again to Asst Manager. In charge of not only the staff, running the floor, a front line desk with 7+ different cash outs on a daily basis, and all the training for the dept... Oh, then after doing that for a while- I jumped ship. Became the Asst. in a dept where i was in charge of Payroll for 437 people, not to mention running my own dept, people and front desk. I run the cash outs for over $80K in transactions a day... but that's prob nothing.. I mean, what can i really do with my "less than adequate education" and brainwashed upbringing?

I mean, yeah, I've heard the rumors about Home schooled kids. But it wasn't until I was out in the world and with "real people" that i really understood it. When people would find out that i was home schooled the reaction was always- "what!? No way, you're normal and social. I thought Home schooled kids were weird."...

But who knows... That's just my humble opinion. I'm out here working, and making a living for myself, and by myself. I've taken everything I've learned growing up all those years, and applied it. When it really comes down to it, you know what i use most in life? All the practical application and knowledge that i gained growing up the way i did. Shit- from the way you make it sound, it's even amazing i know how to spell my name. But yet, here I am.

As for my sister, Mother, Godmother, God sister, and everyone else in my family you've decided to bash... Get a life. Seriously. Get a life that's you're own. Stop wasting your time on them and really move on for once. The way you're acting now, I'm ashamed to say we were ever friends. My friends don't try to make themselves feel better at the expense of others.

Feel free to respond. I'd love to hear it.
I'm not trying to hide.

Wow, from the outside looking in this seems to be like someone is mad. These two Livinston bitches really know how to throw dirt.

Did Joy hit the nail on the head? I guess you just don't know how to spell

DENIAL!!!!!

Yeah, one big happy family over there at SRF! All nice and rosy, perfect people! Loving, happy, perfect .

AH BULL FUCKING CRAP! YOU GIRLS ARE SPEWING MORE SHIT OUT OF YOUR MOUTHS THAN YOUR OWN ASSHOLES!

But what else comes from being around Duby who did spew such shit out of his mouth moreso than his asshole!

Duby was a fucked up SOB and fucked over a lot of decent folk like Joy and her husband.

Joy is growing up and like any adult who was abused is speaking out about it! She has more balls than either Kshanti or Molly Rose. She is calling the shit for what it is and how bad it stinks!

Oh wait a minute, thats not shit, thats spiritual enlightenment and truth.

Like other great Gurus who lie, cheat, steal, molest, sexually abuse, rape and do so many other things all in the name of "god" or religion. They pull more crap out of there asses than a magician pulls rabits out of their hats in a year!

You girls are really the fucked up ones here. Stop your projections and grow up yourselves.

Oh theres no elephant in the room, its all perfect here!

If you girls were stone cold drunk, I wouldn't even want to take advantage of you. Wouldn't want to soil myself on such piece of trash. I might catch something.

Yeah right you are so perfect and innocent.

If you were really Godly women, you would not be casting stones like this.

Recently, a minister named Rev. Debi Livingston declared on the church's weekly radio program that her two daughters had made a ``total psychological separation from their dad.''

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2000/09/12/MNC1070.DTL&hw=spiritual+rights+foundation&sn=002&sc=753

Yeah you girls are one to talk! This from your mother! Oh, really good and really nice! Really perfect family!

No dysfunction here!

Just one big happy family with puppies, 20 (or was that 40 hour) of home schooling with no social sciences other things!

Just one big plastic family.

LETS TURN UP THE HEAT AND SEE HOW LONG IT TAKES TO MELT THESE BARBIE DOLLS!

But if academics took a back seat at the Spiritual Rights Foundation, ``trancing'' did not. Its relaxed, hypnotic state was the church's antidote to worldly programming. Children learned the practice early.

Kshanti signed this testimonial on the church's Web site:

``The other day Claire, Nick, Jenny and I were trancing. Man, oh, man, it was fun! I love trancing with the kids. It is especially fun when adults trance with us, because you get to see a side of them you wouldn't see normally. The kids get to trance every day, and what I really like about trance is that you can release other people's energy and be playing at the same time. What a concept!''

Yeah reall pretty picture this makes!

Pretty interesting comments I´ve witnessed here. All strong and each has a message in there own right. I believe after witnessing things first hand there for years and the subsequent departure of members afterwards that I can honestly say there is much truth on both sides of this blog. But hey, thats what makes blogging so great!

I knew Ksanti and Molly and consider them to be your average kids growing up, and they went through all the pitfalls that anyone grows up with and in. The only difference is, there mom and dad had a fractured relationship like the millions or billions that sprout each and everyday. Debi´s kids were manipulated with the help of R. Bill, Angela and Robin. Debi just happened to love R. Bill so much, that she choose to follow her heart and in some respect, a coerced heart, as she herself was hoping so much to be doing the right thing, that she had mixed results.

The results were, the father of Debi´s kids was agitated into following a manipulator in power. He had control over all of us, and please members still there at the church don´t tell me otherwise. The father, Harpreet, had his faults as well as all men and woman that have children. He was bitter because he was trying to do what he thought was best for Debi and there kids. Unfortunately, what you would do in just routine daily decisions were called into question by Debi to R. Bill..and all the staff members. Nothing like bringing out your dirty laundry for everyone to have to make a snap decision about, even though none of us really wanted to hear about it.

The only problem was, we were subject to the same scrutiny as Debi and her ex mate Harpreet. Most of us were pushed into making these decisions because R. Bill would keep us up for sometimes days on end to no avail. He was a very huge control freak, fractured relationships in his own life that he would try to smooth over around others. He would scream at R. Angela and Robin behind the scenes and they would be subserviant to him while in the public view. He also R. Debi a new asshole many times, and she would cry and become so emotional that she turned on Harpreet and the relationship became dead. R. Debi bonded to R. Bill because she was in love with the man. He built her up and took lots of time with her, more so than Harpreet could ever come near the relationship that they had. R. Debi got built back up like the drill sargent tears down the boys and building up the man who goes out to become a warrior. R. Debi is a spiritual warrior, and has a gentler bedside manner now than what she was subjected to while in constant training.

R. Bill stole the time that should have been given to Harpreet with Kshanti and Molly, After the formative years were taken away from Harpreet by Bill, Debi was forced into having to give time to Harpreet by the courts. By then, the dye had been cast and Harpreet only had two angry and resentful daughters who were spoon fed the lie that there father was some kind of monster from India with hurtful intentions. They didn´t want anything to do with him and all the peer
pressure that everyone succumbs to while there showed in how they viewed there father.

Funny thing is, when your in that enviornment, you are subsurviant, afterall thats what you paid for while doing the training. Once you leave, there is a withdrawl you go through and you feel a little bit lost. This reminds me of the movie Shawshank Redemption, where Morgan Freeman´s character declares after James Whitmore´s character is released into the world after so many years in prison and commits suicide. These walls do funny things to you, at first you hate them, then after you´ve been instutionalized for all those years, it makes a person crazy, and you come to love these walls and dependent on them. In a way, thats how it is once you leave SRF, your bearings were always controlled, then you fresh perspective of the world changes and you are either to scared to live in it, and run back to it for whatever reason, or you grow a new pair of balls or tits you become the person you knew before and scares you to see why you would give up your life for such lies and deception in the first place. It was like a narcotic adddict who finally kicks the habit and realizes all the time they wasted in there lives doing them. Just replace SRF for the drug or drugs of your choice...NO DIFFERENCE!

Lastly, Ksanti and Molly are not children, as well as most of the remaining kids in the church. They are all valuable members of society that have become adults.

Molly just happens to want to stick up for her sister and mother like anyone would. Molly and Kshantil doesn´t see her mom as this evil creature, because they have been loved by her. Ask them what they think of there father, and you will probably get a different and more aloof comments. They care about him but don´t really have a connection with him, you can put the blame on R. Bill and Debi for that....and with a big heapping helping from Harpreet.

"It takes a village to raise a child."

We heard that at SRF almost every day and we took it to heart.

Kshanti, Molly, I saw you both as two of the most naturally intelligent kids I have ever seen.

Paradoxically, the home schooling you were given held you back until your dad took a stand to help you two get to where you are today - two talented young women with bright futures.

Our fear was that you could not be as you have become. By integrating you both into the world you now enjoy, your dad helped you in more ways than you can imagine and in more ways than we can express.

Kshanti, it took relocation to Vermont for you to find your true calling and for you to develop into the young woman we knew you could become. And you have become the talented young woman YOU wanted to be. If that opportunity were available in Berkeley, why leave?

You knew there was more to life than copying tapes and driving tractors. You went for it and you got it.

That's what we wanted for you. And we never said you couldn't get it.

You are confusing our past fears for your future with our current pride for your present. To even think Joy, me or anyone else have ever been ashamed of you and Molly, to believe we think of you as anything less than bright young women with brilliant futures is absolutely wrong.

The village that raised you not only helped you two get to where you are now as adult women, but oddly, served as a roadblock to you both. Two brilliant girls with superior intellegence being taught below their abilities was painful for us to witness. And there were more people concered about that than you would believe.

The problem was there was nothing anyone but your father could do to help you. No one wanted to speak out for fear of punishment and no one wanted to risk alienating or traumatizing either of you with the news you two appear eager to read, now that you are adults.

When your father put you two on the road to your own success, Bill and others conspired to discredit him, demonize him and estrange him from the village where you were born and ultimately, from you.

Despite all that, we knew that of all of those SRF kids, you two would be the ones to have the best lives of anyone we know. If your lives seem great now, just wait. In ten years we know your stars will shine even brighter.

Give yourselves a well-deserved pat on the back.

But do me a favor: send your dad a card this Father's Day.

He loves you both enough to have set you free and took the bullets in the back so you can have the lives you enjoy now and the beautiful futures we all know you'll have. That is a father's biggest sacrifice.

I think he has earned a Hallmark.

The writings of Rosebud Maid are those of a very unstable individual. He should be feared for what he might do. Anyone who speaks like this is directly threatening someone else. It is one thing to throw vitrolic responses, it is another to threaten. If the identity of this individual is know to Mike or Joy, I hope that they take this as a gut and reality check.

Many people have been hurt by Bill Duby, the media supports this. Steve Sanchez's book support this. Former members suppor this.

Now Joy and Mike support this.

If even part of these stories are true, then everone was facing a truly sociopathic man. The things I am reading in Spiritual Perversion are quite shocking and despite the embelishments are actually based on fact.

Facts of pure psychological abuse. In any other contexts these things Bill said and did would put him behind bars. At SRF it was "spiritual" truths.

I was not in SRF, but I came from the organization which taught him all the lies he spewed and used to control people. The Church of Divine Man/Berkelely Psychic Institute.

CDM/BPI are not much different than SRF. Truly abominable leaders who abused their staff, parishoners and students. They did it more covertly than Bill and kept up appearances. But the stories are highly similar regarding the abuses one faced.

The difference between SRF & CDM is the difference between a Sociopath and a Narcissist. SRF was run by a sociopath, CDM by Naricissits.

Although I can hear both Molly and Kshanti's anger, they are going at the messenger, not debating the message. Their anger is truly misdirected as is often the case of those who have been around abuse or they themselves were abused. They make value judgements and attack character without even attempting to see her side of the situaion. I can see where they want to protect the image of what they thought was. But sometimes the image of what one believes does not stand up to the face of reality.

Molly, Kshanti put asside your feelings for a moment and try and step into Joy and Mikes shoes. They have and are going through a time of having to reconcile what they experienced and what they were told they were experiencing. It may hurt right now, but it takes a huge person to step up and call abuse for what it truly was.

Joy and Mike are doing just that.

I support Joy and Mike in naming the evils which they were exposed to. And it is good to see that they are holding you in a loving way. Your vitrol is understandable.

As Mike said, send your father a card on fathers day, he was manipulated and hurt by Bill as well. He fought for you. He was not perfect, but his actions speak mountains about his caring for you.

Joy has appologized if her blogs have hurt someone. It is not her intention to directly hurt anyone. She is just learning to truly speak up, and it takes courage to do so even in the face of insurmountable obstacles. And she is expressing her hurt in constructive and truly enlightening ways without.

In re: Rosebud Maid...

WTF?

I remember being on Spirit Patrol late at night reading the incoming email. We seemed to get one or two of those kinds of crazy mails every night from similar SRF "supporters". If I were alone whern I read them, I'd need clean underwear. Luckily, the lights were on and there were a few others around.

Once in a while, someone like that would call on the main phone line. Just as creepy. Those kinds of email and phone calls were just one of the reasons SRF HQ has a tall steel and redwood gate around it with a sturdy lock.

At this point, I'm not sure if I should hang up a spiritual stocking on the fireplace for "Santa's" present or call the police.

I mean, what the hell do you tell the cops? That someone in an SRF T-Shirt impersonating Santa is coming to deliver spiritual retribution?

Screw it. I'm hanging a stocking.

Either way, I'm glad I got out before my mind went the way as Rosebud Maid's. I probably know who that is, but as the list of people who's brains blew into micro-orbs is as long as the river is wide, the process of identifying this person would be a long one.

Anyway, I'm not putting a stop to my mission on account of Rosebud Maid.

You are absolutely right you have the right to think whatever you want, to do what you feel is right, just as I do. If you think I am full of shit then that is your right and have at it.

In that same way I think what set you on the right path was due to a multitude of extraordinary innate qualities you possess and having many people around you that loved you including your mother; though I would be amiss to not say her decisions concerning you were misguided in my opinion. But you have heard that all before, long before I showed up.

I do know that you have always been an amazing girl and now a woman. I know all your friends and family back in Berkeley are so proud of you and your accomplishments and so are Mike and I. We have always cheered for you. It seems you may have gotten the wrong impression from something I did or said to make you feel like I don’t think you are doing well. I apologize if I said anything out of line concerning this but I was only reflecting on a dream and I certainly do not know anything about your life now (I don’t believe I ever wrote or said what you were doing now just what happened in the past and mainly what I witnessed).

I do see things differently from you and you may hate me for it or at least me expressing it. We may never see eye to eye.

I offer the public dissenting views just like many other former ministers of the Spiritual Rights Foundation have done for the last 8 years or so; God I can’t remember when the first newspaper article came out against the Spiritual Rights Foundation.

I wish you all the best and hope that life treats you kind. You are gifted and incredible; I will always remember you as such no matter what.

I have a very soft spot for both Molly and Kshanti, as they were special people in my life. I see them as great people who have a wonderful spirit, articulate, well spoken. I also have to say that there mom, when you get her out of that environment is the same, so those of us who were taught to hate the sin not the sinner are doing so with this blog. We are hating the sin of the corrupt environment and those who choose to corrupt others with this body, mind and soul affliction of energies/propaganda!

Some of us seem to be piling on with those in charge these days, as well others who led SRF in the past. Lets all get a grip and just say that SRF is not for everyone and to be blunt, some are really so caught up with the notion that they are going to be saved by this church, that they miss the rest of the world going on around them that life is passing them by. The insulation you at first covet, settle into the lifestyle change, and then later resent, is our own choice/fault. Yeah we can blame others for our own actions, but seriously, how many of us want to be told what to do day after day, night after night, and year after year by people who say they aren't gurus? Yet, when we speak up, we are reprimanded and isolated for un SRF like beliefs and therefore are own beliefs are struck down as being out of our space...ungrounded....worst yet, stopped in using our minds and spiritual discernment for a case of the only say something good about SRF mantra.

We are told not to give up our seniority (certainty of who we are without compromise) and we do so because people like Bill Duby, Angela Silva and Robin DuMolin and Debi Livingston tell us to do so, when it comes to our own spiritual discernment and voice.

Kshanti and Molly were never clairvoyant training students, ministers and prone to the long hours of coercion masked in spiritual enlightenment training? They never had to work 40 to 50 work weeks, chastised for not getting to a 4 to 6 hour floor monitoring/house control shift, an all night spirit patrol shift/doing more propaganda work for the school and church through online advertising, mailings, cleansing of the energies and protecting the outside world from corrupting the inner sanctum of SRF and the walls of what R. Bill Duby started and the extended family continue to create.

Kshanti, you left to start your own life right after you graduated from school, Molly is pretty much doing the same. So to hear from both of you regarding everything else outside of rightfully protecting yourselves and your mom is misguided. Kshanti, work all day at the lodge and then get yelled at in staff meetings for being 10 minutes late for a meeting, pay a high percentage of your work wages to those who tear you down and don't appreciate your existence, if only to work you hard and spit you out with disdain as they sit back and laugh and talk about you behind your backs. Yet, chastised others for doing the same. Its called being a hypocrite! Angela, Robin and your mother Debi are masters at it!

Molly, go to school all day, cram for tests at night and then go do a house control shift and spirit patrol shift back to back and pay most of what your earn having to pay rent and food, not to mention college courses on the side job you had to get in order to cover your living expenses. Tell me after doing this for years you don't see the bullshit and the deception of being told its a non profit corporation and see the only profits are going to your mom, Angela, Robin and Bill when he was alive....

As a student studying journalism at an awarding winning school newspaper, try learning the real instincts of a real news reporter...become objective and do research! As the famous DEEP THROAT once said to Carl Bernstein of the Washington Post...FOLLOW THE MONEY!

Anonymous from Jan 22. 8:17, thank you for your insights into the progression of comments here. It is so hard to address everything possible that needs to be said. So I really appreciate others perspectives; what other people are getting out of these comments. And every one who has commented has helped me reflect on my own thinking and experiences.

I appreciate what you had to say about Debi, I have seen a glimpse of her good side as well all though we never really hung out as friends because she was always in a position of power and authority as either my teacher, Director, House Control or Bishop. I certainly do not think she is an evil person but someone who as Bill said it best wanted to climb to the top and have power. She has been molded and manipulated by an evil man Rev. Bill Duby who saw both her potential and her weakness for approval and desires. Long ago she has crossed over the line of being a victim at the hands of Bill to now being a victimizer similar to him. It is unfortunate she and I had ever crossed Rev. Bill’s path. Now however, after working tirelessly to be in the position she is in she is carrying out Rev. Bill’s vision to the best of her ability and that I have a problem with. The works of Rev. Bill and his teacher Lewis Boswick have ruined countless people’s lives and families. And with the knowledge I have now I cannot stand idly by.

You have made many interesting points that I have been reflecting on for some time now. I have been reading a book off and on now named, The Lucifer Effect – Understanding how good people turn evil by Philip Zimbardo who is the social psychologist who designed the famous Stanford Jail experiment. He looked at how people could be changed by being in groups and how much control a group or an environment had on an individual. This is very interesting to me and I will write about it in more detail in later posts.

I do want to say that there have been a large amount of research that has shown the impact of groups, environments and authority figures have on individual’s actions, thoughts, perceptions and deeds including going against what they know to be right. Just look up Milgram’s research on Blind Obedience to Authority which you can find videos on it and new research based on it on youtube.

My niece is coming over to make some yummy homemade pizza with me so I have to go. I have much more to say about this, another time.

Ok Pesto sauce is made and pizza dough is rising.

I do want to address rosebudmaid’s comment; I see you are back again. I am, I think glad that you feel things at least in communication is healed between us but I don’t. At first I did not realize the severity of what you were saying at first until another commenter pointed out you were making threats and possibly dangerous. I had to pull all your comments off my blog and youtube because I did not feel it was appropriate. Now you are blocked on youtube but I cannot block individual people here, however I do reserve the right to delete comments as I see fit.

I advise you to be more careful what you say, do not make threats, do not attack as you have been, people are thinking you are a bit off your rocker by some of your comments. If you have something constructive to say then we would love to hear it, if you want to praise the Spiritual Rights Foundation and your teachers then do it. If that is your way of spreading the light then I have no problem with that.

But I repeat for anyone on this blog, no threats, no blackmail, no bullying and please stay on topic.

I would like this blog to be a forum of open opiniions and thoughts on peoples experiences in relation to their time spent at the Spritual Rights Foundation or simular organizations like the Berkeley Psychic Institute and Scientology.

Thanks you.

It's done. It's over.

Now, let's leave those two alone.

If they comment again, let's just let them speak their piece and we will go on with our own discussion.

It will probably be written a lot better than their first attempt anyway and I for one, am looking forward to hearing it.

Whoa, looks like I’m pissing someone off. Hit a nerve, did I?

My status on this blog went from being the poor victim of forced child labor and abuse, to a bitch and whore. I guess you guys don’t like it when people point out the flaws in your concocted stories.

On the note of this blog being one big ridiculous invasion of my life, I’d like to request that you leave out Harpreet too. I realize in all you peoples renditions of the past, he is cast as a helpless victim. Which makes sense, because you’re all friends and its much more fun to tell fairy tales about big bad Bill ruining everything.

But bringing him into this is unfair to him, and to our relationship. It only adds stress to our relationship. I can absolutely guarantee that none of you know the full story behind everything that happened between us, and you sound naïve pretending you do. I don’t need anyone to tell me to give him a fathers day card, or that I should thank him for my ‘freedom.’

My dad and I agree on this so if you can’t show me the respect (since many of you perceive me as a evil bitch), at least show it to your friend, Harpreet.
Thanks for looking out for me Mike, Laying low was never my style, but I appreciate the concern. I can take the fierce comments. They’re entertaining, but kind of a let down. I would enjoy being dragged over hot coals so much more if I at least knew who it was the feels such hatred towards me.

As for my writing style, I am sorry if it comes off too sarcastic for your taste. I’m trying to tone it down. (No joke, my mom, dad and even my boyfriend tell me I need too.)

Hopefully you remember that I’m a very sarcastic person, and when it comes to responding to the ridiculous stuff I see on here I guess that tone comes out a bit too strong.

I do disagree with you on my writing skills. I feel I come across clearly enough.

You said I am unfocused, unorganized and sophomoric. I don’t think so.
If I may quote your wife “But like, Its like, you know, ummm, it obviously shows... ummm, you know, ummm, yeah. I don’t know. It shows a lot. Yeah. So, anyways. . .”

If I am unfocused, unorganized and sophomoric, then surely we can categorize Joy’s communication skills as infantile?

(That’s a real quote. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nxy3atB5_3Q. . . I realize you may suffer a boredom induced coma from trying to watch the entire video, so just go to 8:22)

As for how I would like to be remembered by the writers and commenters of this blog, that’s not something I am really concerned about. I highly doubt there is anything I can say that will change your perceptions of me.
I’m not fooling myself into thinking that anything I have written on here will change your guys’ mind. Don’t worry, I know I am wasting my time. It hardly matters if I come off eloquent or a mess, either way it will be twisted to suit how you all choose to view me.

Anyways, this little Internet exchange is hardly entertaining for me. I post with my name, and willingly take the online beatings that inevitably follow. Yet all of you who are so quick to throw me under the bus post your thoughts anonymously. BORING.

As I said before, I have nothing to hide or be ashamed of. You all apparently do.

Then again, if I where a adult posting trash like: “If you girls were stone cold drunk, I wouldn't even want to take advantage of you. Wouldn't want to soil myself on such piece of trash. I might catch something.” or “LETS TURN UP THE HEAT AND SEE HOW LONG IT TAKES TO MELT THESE BARBIE DOLLS!”

I guess I would have something to be ashamed about. Have fun hiding.

Hey Molly,
Glad you are now a contributing member to this blog. Unfortunately you are just asking to be flamed by others who are looking for more ammo!
The post SRF emotions are real, and yes we probably need to get a life for sure! But hey, Mike and Joy have this place to vent and tell what they experienced just like you and Kshanti do. You were kids and were spared much of the abuse by the elite top tier. Your mother...I repeat your mother was only a soldier told what to do by your godmother, mothers best friend and your godfather.

Your eyes as a child were filled with playing, role playing and watching television. Yeah I know, you think we didn't notice you noticing us. We did. That is when you would be asked to go out and play somewhere else. Heck, don't you remember Bill screaming at us late into the night, and the hushed tones of him keeping us up all night? Don't you remember woman crying and the body expressions of the men that had us very uptight and stressed?

As a reporter, you are supposed to be objective and neutral. You can't possibly know the bullshit we endured over the years.

IT IS ALL OUR OWN FAULT! I GET IT! Why are we complaining now right? Well, sometimes there is a thing called post traumatic stress disorder that people get, most notably soldiers coming home from wars.

I was just glad my experience was over with and I could get away from that environment.

You were shielded from much of what went on, though I don't doubt you saw much of what went on. It's just that your mind wasn't always occupied with all the stress that we had to endure. We were proud spiritual warriors and thought we were going to make a difference with those who weren't enlighten like us at SRF.

When new people came in we were only to proud to introduce them to our teaching. We were filled up with a false belief that we were different and somehow we could make a difference in there lives. We were wrong. We only helped them get worse and get broke.

As a reporter Molly, don't you ask for just the facts? No one ever got wealthy at SRF, except for maybe David and his winnings from the lottery. Yet, he gave up much of it from the standpoint of donations over the next few years. I'm sure he wished he hadn't given up all that money now.

The rest of the group could only rely on the handouts of the seldom generosity of the church when they had no work coming in. I also saw Angela, Robin try to evict people from SRF properties when they couldn't come up with money to pay rent or pay for the constant classes they were required to take.

We were promised a retirement place, but it looks like that was a major lie! Your welcome as long as you don't run out of money.

You are off to college and away from the craziness the last 5 years or so, as well as your sister. Why didn't both of you stick around and join the year class? Why did both of you have the need to get away from Berkeley right after you graduated from school? You had enough as well...You saw that us crazy adults were stupid for chasing a pipe dream! You saw that the future wasn't being a drone for the upper SRF elite. Can you imagine having your journalism teacher(s) continually have you answer there phones, do there bidding, clean up there houses, do remodeling of there houses, fix up there backyards, and continually send flyers out telling the community through the media how great it is to not get paid for it for years?

IT IS OUR OWN DAMN FAULT! We are only now just getting the anger and stress out, but we are still connected to some of those who are still there, and we do this with mixed emotions. Still, I believe we are still a little bit conflicted by this, as we believe somehow we can help those who are still there and conflicted themselves. We are doing this anonymously because other than Mike and Joy, we still have a connection to many of those still there. Slowly, they will get tired and look for a reason to leave as well. They can look for us to help them make the transition to a post SRF life. Isn't what your doing Molly? Your using school to separate you from everyone at SRF and start your life as a graduate/job seeker/wife/mother and builder of a prosperous life? We did that years ago, but we heard about some spiritual place that was magical, we bit and got hooked, just like the smoker who starts up with friends. We are fighting against our former loves, only this is the environment that corrupts peoples souls and lives.

Try doing an expose about a place similar and without the personal involvement and you would be all over it as a journalist. You can't with SRF because you grew up and have blinders with those you grew up knowing.

Anonymous may some day come up to you and reintroduce themselves to you and say hello. You may give us the finger, or after years of hearing people getting taken advantage of and captured want to give us a gentle I know what your going through hug and tell us you understand now. I have no ill will towards people, only the evil that dwells in them The House Where Evil Dwells for years was a movie that Angela Silva would show us about spirits. She should take that to heart and realize she is a product of the same environment. Personally, I think the place should be burned down, or gutted and start anew.

Rev. Bill deserves the heat when he was alive and now after his death. He was a sick individual who abused the staff and those in charge now. He deserves spite and exposure for his control tactics. His vision is to make everyone uncomfortable and stressed out. His spiritual exercises only gave the person a temporary relief, and then he would start up on some other rant. The things thrown against the wall and floors illustrated someone who wouldn't hesitate to resort to violence. The physical fights he said he would resort to unless they relented to his control of there woman was legendary!

I just wish when he reviews his life that God has the same mercy that he had on us when he was alive. Great legacy to leave your wife and kid with.

Faith Under Fire by William Duby

Faith Under Fire
An Article by Rev. Bill Duby

The following is an article written by the founder of SRF Bill Duby in the year 2001 - the year God decided enough was enough then reached down and yanked up Bill by the ear. Where Bill went from there is pretty obvious.  Good thing he was wearing fireproof undies.

Bill wrote this mess in response to his chickens coming home to roost. Many of his formally loyal followers were departing.  Fewer students were coming in the door.  The school board was after his truant child, the county was after him for building code violations, he was named prominently in child custody cases, and piece after piece appeared in the news media; none flattering.

I saw Bill at that time. He was uncontrollably angry, frustrated and simultaneously depressed that his idiot behavior was coming back to haunt him at last. He was famous for lashing out at whoever was handy whenever he was frustrated. This time, he couldn't lash out at his victims - they were long gone and those left had nothing he could use to demean them. So, he wrote this collection of vomit and other bodily discharges in the hopes he could upset his targets.

It didn't work. They read it out loud and ridiculed it - just the same as they saw Bill do to so many others. I'm told it was a good time. Sorry I missed it.

This collection of hate and delusion is a perfect example that Bill Duby was either a consummate con man or a maniacal psychotic. Come to think of it, he was probably both.

The original article appeared in the print version of "American Spirit Newspaper".  While the Spiritual Rights Foundation still marvels at Bill's incoherent ramblings in their official print organ "American Spirit Newspaper" and other recorded materials, they appear to be ashamed of this article "Faith Under Fire".  Come to think of it, now that SRF has dumped all writings by anyone and the only recordings sold by the Health and Wealth enterprise are those read by or featuring anyone but Robin DuMolin and Angela Silva, I guess they are just trying to keep the skeletons in the closet.

When it was alive in its online version, American Spirit Newspaper proudly displayed many of Bill's writings. However, Faith Under Fire was conspicuously absent. If this article is such a truthful and honest disclosure of the reprehensible and obviously vengeful behavior of injured ex-members, why not post it prominently?

I think we know why. Just read a couple of paragraphs. It will make itself plain.

Faith Under Fire

This article is study material. It brings to light psychical energies that influence everyone. It reveals truth and as Jesus said, Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

I consider my life worth nothing to me. If only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me - the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace.
- Acts 20:24 NIV

I know a foolish group of ministers who have thought to become an unfaithful lot. I was their teacher long ago. We laughed and played until they took life too seriously.

We once walked together in our mission to uphold the faith of Jesus Christ, and the power of his Holy Spirit to work things out through love for the truth, so help us God. This was our bond and the royal purpose of ordination. I haven't seen some of these people for five years and others for ten to fifteen years.

Some may feel I should feel sorry for these lost souls. What good would it do? I am not their judge, jury or executioner. What they have done, and what they continue to do, is done with malicious intent to do injury and harm. Spiteful people are vicious. Wherever they go they bring pain, dissension and discord for all to experience.

I loved the tabernacle of their soul nature in the many yesterdays of long ago, and today they hate me for it because they live in the memory which will not bring them happiness until they reciprocate. So they stay stuck where they thought to be, and this is their diabolical work. . .

For the past five years I have been the target of their rage. I guess I was an outrageous kind of guy, and they couldn't handle it. What I suspect their problem with me was that - I didn't do things the way they thought I should have. I didn't think, act or do it their way. Holding such an insane notion in their mind is ludicrous. Listen! If I should have, I would have, because I could have. But I couldn't because I shouldn't and the God of my heart made sure I wouldn't - so that they would learn to grow up and get over their problem with authority figures.

This group of men and women have disgraced themselves by prefabricating lies and deceits, intentionally becoming fraudulent in their demonic activity because of their treacherous hearts. Each knew better than to do what they did inasmuch as they were well taught, nevertheless they did the unspeakable, the impious, knowing they were without excuse. Irreverent men and women turned the holy into the unholy, soiled the holy cloth of Christ by treating it as though it was a filthy rag, thus defrocking themselves in their insubordination to dare and serve the anti-Christ in their secret plot.

My life, my past and my way of being was clearly exposed to these people while they were with me. I hid nothing from them. I found heartless people with twisted minds who bent the truth to justify their cause. I am reminded by them why I was born with panic disorder. You should be afraid of such people who are like "wolves in sheep's clothing."

What was said in private and in the confidence of the sacrament of confession was gladly taken to the public and twisted to disgrace me.

Deciding to humiliate me is proof they don't want me to have the grace they now lack.

My name was slandered and my devotion desecrated in private and misrepresented in the press. Yet, I do nothing except what I am now doing because there is nothing else I need to do. I have the faith that they do not and I certainly keep my place in it. Why? Vengeance is mine saith the Lord. Someday they may come to learn this important lesson. Until then I am sure they believe they have been given a great mandate to protect society and its people from the likes of me. Good! I am confident that those who would listen to them should stay away from me else risk awakening to the light of the truth that could burn the hell out of them. Anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear knows well that my battle isn't with these lost souls. It may look that way because they want to make it a personal fight.

A war between good and evil is taking place. I look into the world of the spiritual. I did a good deed in getting through to them. I AM DOING IT NOW, AS WELL! The way I am, shook the very foundation of their existence. I didn't even try! I just knew BS when I heard it. All I did was stand up for the truth the best way I knew how at the time. In seeing my integrity they threw away their own. What a foolish thing to do. Why do it? Theirs wasn't grounded in the sure foundation of the Word of God. They were swept away by their own conceit that they knew better.

Misguided faith is powerless in slaying me, or anyone else - in the spirit - because it is speaking on behalf of self. On the other hand, bringing glory to the very One that brought us both into being is a true and grounded reality.

I am doing what I was ordained to do. I am getting even by keeping the faith rather than going mad, by getting mad. I have presented my case before the heavenly. As Jesus said, it is not I but the father within me that doeth the works. Isn't it true for all of us? So let's give credit where credit belongs - to Him!

Without boast or brag about the majesty of the Lord, I am safe because I keep the faith by working my heartfelt conviction. There is One greater than I who has forgiven me, as I have forgiven others long before they dared to ask. This has blessed me with the power to forgive myself for the past, present and future. Without such grace I would remain the wretch I was before I was saved from the disgrace of not knowing myself like my elder brother Jesus knew Himself. My victorious spirit belongs to Him alone - for it is He, not me, that does the work of lifting me up into the consciousness of his glory.

I am clean in my heart because it is in alignment with the grand and glorious One. Confession is good for the soul. I did mine before this bunch and they made a mockery of me in public for personal gain. Under the authority of moral and legal law they should have kept their tongue from being unruly; and if they were to speak they needed to speak the whole truth so help them God, else remain silent to keep in good standing with themselves. But they didn't and that's that. So now they are held in bondage under the karmic law they sought to use to persecute me. When you exercise an "eye for an eye" mentality you don't see clearly because you are dying to live in darkness of the lie. I am not at liberty to work out my karma. I have none. Karma has nothing to do with me. I don't play in the chaos of duality. I am a free man. I live under the law of grace. I work for all humanity to freely have what I have been given freely, the elegance of HIS GRACE!

I am contrite today as I was when I was with these complaining people. I dare say that my volunteer work is my witness of being true to my word. I never said I was good in any sense of the word.

There is none good but God! It is my job to know this truth. I shared it with them as well. I told them that I could not enlighten them. I could enlighten me, and they could do the same, enlighten themselves as well. I believed they could have done so by studying the Word of God. It worked for me, why not them? But they didn't study it enough to realize that it isn't open to private interpretation. They sought their own way. The "turn the other cheek" mentality was rejected by them else they would think foremost about forgiving me. But they can't because they know right from wrong, and the wrong they do isn't right. Absent of the compassion of Christ for His Humanity they set off to do their dastardly deed, powerless to discern the truth from the lie - and fell head first into a living hell that they have yet come to see!

I am without fraud in representation of myself. I was their mentor for a time but only one of many they came to know. I was a friend instead of an enemy. There wasn't one of them that I didn't give my all to. I walked and talked with them, Out in the open. I didn't hide anything from them. I lived as a man, walked and talked as a man. I didn't try to act good and perfect.

Let's say for the sake of argument that their hypothesis is true - I am a shady character! That I am a terrible and wicked influence. That I have wronged them. Well then, let's look at it sensibly! Two doors are open to them. The legal door opens when they have found factual evidence of proving it in a court of law. And in that case, I have the right to see the face of my accusers. I have seen none. In a cowardly manner they have maligned me because of their malignant intent to pervert the truth. Where are my accusers? Where are these so called "defenders of faith?" They are nowhere to be seen, probably hiding in the closet with all their skeletons and reading their quotes in the filthy rags of yellow journalism.

Now the second door! The moral door opens when they pray they are rightly used by God to bring me back to my senses through repentance to make restitution for going astray. But they can't do that when they have left the faith by being faithless in their own right - to wrong another they are in competition with and jealous of for Christ sake! If they had walked through this door I'd discover I was forgiven before I dared to ask. But such is not the case.

So now these people stand for nothing worthwhile. None of them can go through either door. Each is stuck on the picture of thinking they know better but the fruit of their labor stinks to the highest heaven. They are self righteous hypocrites!

It took nine (9) months of investigation before these people wrote their scathing article. From December unto September they searched high and low for dirt. No criminal record was found. You can't find what doesn't exist. All they found was hearsay. You know how gossip works don't you? You tell a lie and I tell a lie and that's how we become "fair weather" friends. This is what they did to paint a horrific picture for all to see. Defamation of character was their fixation. When they came up empty handed they created a composite image of themselves and called it me.

Allegations are not charges, and charges are not convictions.

My Judge Advocate rules the heavens and the earth. All power is His Own. He is letting me know that He is allowing me to be used by his Grace to let the likes of such people put themselves into heaven or hell by how they treat me.

I offer them this writing as a treatise for peace. Yet, I know it shall be rejected because Jesus was rejected in their heart before they rejected me in their mind.

I have let them down. Good! It is high time they learned to quit expecting of others what they would hate to be expected of them. I told them early on that I was not the one t look to as their role model. Their problem is with Jesus not me. Blame Him for how I am. I am only as God created me to be. I can be no more or less. I work for Him to be alive in my life, not what others think should be. I teach up front that I believe it is far better to go this way in your thinking than what these people have lost themselves in. If these people did believe in Jesus they'd listen to me; they didn't listen to me anymore than who they said they believed in. Therefore their faith is a faithless faith.

Can you imagine the chaos in every college if students were allowed to persecute the teacher because they didn't learn what was taught?

I am only responsible for teaching the subject matter. It is the students responsibility to learn what was taught. Like the song says, "I never promised you a rose garden."

I am a volunteer worker. I have handicaps like many. Some volunteer to be a fireman while others volunteer to work in a hospital. I volunteer to minister when I am welcome to do so. I work for free because I want freedom. I know the law and I live under rule of law. It is my religious belief.

Jesus didn't need payment as a member of the clergy. In fact, He wasn't even accepted as a member of the clergy of His day. Yet, He knew that all belonging to His Father was His, and He shared it all with those who were in agreement with Him. I follow the law of man, as I have come to know how to do, because the Spirit of God has taught me well to do so. Do I eat of the show bread? Did King David?

I have become an icon for evil to those who have lost their way. Good! Now they will come to learn that what they thought was their way is not their own. When the heart isn't in an upright condition the mentality of the mind is unsound. In such a state one becomes a stumbling block preventing others from coming to their senses.

The news media wants us to lose ourselves in sensationalism to sell us their newspapers. This is their fiendish reasoning for fabricating a story long before they twist the truth of it. This is why the statement was coined: "The pen is mightier than the sword." The pen can kill you just as easily as the sword without it leaving any trace of blood evidence. Making the news and reporting the news are two different things. The men and women in the media need to report it instead of making it.

Journalism often destroys the journalist and leaves in hell the corrupt reporter who without conscience dreams of tearing another down to build up himself in personal fame and glory.

Here is what I know to be true for me. This group is pleased to ridicule me in public. To do unto me wheat they would never want done unto them. Yet, I did them no wrong. But there is a wrong doing. Let me explain!

I am being troubled because I reached out and helped block a woman from further abuse. One of the men was betraying her trust in him as her husband. He went so far as making sure she couldn't ever again see him in that light.

I was asked to talk to him on her behalf. I talked to him about the marriage he so desperately needed for well being. But he was so cock-sure of himself that he thought he didn't have to listen. This man heard from me what he couldn't hear from her. He didn't like hearing it but he heard it. And as a result, he has continued to do to me what he can no longer do to her. For this, I am glad because she is free of his tyrannical rule. She has a new life. She is independent and a God fearing woman. He, on the other hand, has gone mad. Mad at me for what he failed to do for himself, get humble!

I speak the truth for God is my witness, and he left behind a large body of people who watched him terribly assail her beliefs and quality of self worth in being female.

Here is where I stand with the truth. I am only guilty in giving a helping hand to a woman. But to this man, and his group of cronies, I am guilty of breaking up a family. This is untrue! It was me that helped him get married. I warned both of the pitfalls beforehand. I am the one who encouraged them to have a child. I helped them in many ways. In fact, I helped all the others as well.

I didn't break up their marriage. I don't have such power. I did what I could to try and prevent the inevitable.

You can never lose what is yours!

If this man was truly her husband he would have kept his peace by keeping his place with God. He wanted to be right rather than in love. He wanted to control her! Her indomitable spirit demanded equality. He didn't realize she was unyielding in her need. She had something to say. She wanted her voice to be heard. This why they constantly fought.

All she asked him to do was quit the abuse. It was too much for her to bear. She was always a nervous wreck after dealing with his screaming, ranting and raving. She couldn't handle his "back-mouthing" her when she spoke. She asked him to stop it, and to put away his bad-temper! He couldn't respect her wishes. It was too much for her to ask!

He said he couldn't live her way, he couldn't live like that. He left her - she didn't leave him. He destroyed her trust in him. He did it to himself. He destroyed what could have been a wonderful marriage. He couldn't see she was doing what she could to save their marriage. He saw things differently.

He thought we were conspiring against him. He saw it that way because he was bent out of shape. He wanted to believe the lie else he'd have to clean up his act. Here is how I see it! If he couldn't control and continue his abuse of her, he didn't want her. He couldn't blame himself because that's the manly thing to do. So he blamed me. Good! Now he can live in self denial, and suffer as a consequence of lying to himself.

Pain is a good teacher. Pain is his teacher now. When he grieves enough he will see what he lost by what he took for granted, namely, the beloved mother of his child.

He has labored greatly since the fateful day he walked away in to the darkness because of lacking common sense. He has worked diligently in being crafty in his machinations, conniving day and night, consorting with others to appease him.

I have heard he has spent somewhere in the neighborhood of $40,000 dollars, to convince the family court that the church is a wicked cult, and that I am a horrible and terrible ruler from the nether world. He believes I control and dominate the life of everyone around me. He gives me far too much credit. I will admit that we all influence each other. But Jesus taught well that nobody has any power over anyone except that it be given to them from heaven; therefore; God is in control.

He had half legal custody of his child but that wasn't enough. He wanted more. He hungered for total custody. It was his way of teaching his wife she had made a mistake in demanding equal partnership in marriage. Holy wedlock, he couldn't stand; locking her into pandemonium by taking away the child was what he sought. This was severe enough and just punishment. He would teach her who was the master. So he fought the fight of the dirty who soil the cloth of righteousness.

He went after me with the prayer and hope the court would use his negative image of me, as posted in the newspapers, to steal away custody of the beautiful child they created together in lovelier times. His prayers weren't answered, and his hope was hopeless because the Almighty knew better.

He failed himself miserably in his pursuit because he didn't understand the concept of jurisprudence. He took his fight to the wrong court. You don't try religious liberty in family court. The man with genius leaves the civil liberties of another alone unless he risks losing his own.

His disbelief in me and my ways are litigated in the Presence of God, not man.

He needed to prove his lovely wife was unfit. He couldn't do that because he knew better. The angelic face of his daughter revealed that truth, and the psychologist chosen to look at her in depth was mesmerized by her beautiful way of how she was at home with herself. So the mad man lost his case for he tried to make the lie the truth but that's what liars do!

I warned him about trying to take his daughter away from her mother. He had to prove me wrong. In his impudent posturing to be stupid he has attained the impossible, and made himself look idiotic. The court didn't care about me. It cared about what was right for the child without stepping on the civil liberties of its citizens. The mother had done the proper thing in her rearing of the child. The court validated this truth. It didn't matter about my image to begin with. Surely then, it didn't matter about my image to end with. Either. So, his efforts were a waste of time, energy and money. But what did come out of it was good for all to see. He has become an example of what happens when you mock God. You go mad because blocking yourself from the truth is self damnation.

I unequivocally state that God is in control; only the deranged would think otherwise; doing so because they are other than wise in their undertaking and their foolishness ends in the office of the undertaker when you become a member of the dearly departed.

Taking upon ourselves the mantle of Deity is what the psychotic do when the wicked spirits enter the psyche and cause the psychosis of dementia. The self righteous become prey to madness by thinking they are right while working like the devil to disgrace another who reached out to help them know better for Christ sake!

He has been so busy digging up my past he's become a garbage collector. He judges the hell out of me. The more he hates me, the more free I am of the influence. His mind is consumed by my image. He can't get me out of his mind. I am his icon for evil. Yet, I am used by His Holiness to help him get over what this man has yet to discover about himself for well being.

He has gone out of his way to find other souls who have lost their way over the years. He has played upon their sympathies, and taken advantage of their ignorance. The evil in this world order perpetuates itself because the politics of the day are designed to thrive upon rumor and innuendo.

Newspapers sell because of the titillation of sensationalism that the authors of scathing articles premeditate. The same female reporter was met by this man and his child at the airport, long after the insulting article was published. His child made the comment to their mother. It was stated something like this but don't quote me. "We went to the airport to see our friend..." (the reporter)?. Friend! What does that tell you? Both knew each other. A little hanky-panky?

It started with him seeking her out. He had to find a sympathetic mean spirited individual like himself. Like attracts like. It was him looking for an unsuspecting soul to fabricate a best seller. She fell for it because she doesn't know firsthand how to prevent herself from becoming pretentious in the face of a stupid person. She has no God given reality she can honestly ground herself upon. That's what happens when you lack awareness. YOU become a fool so someday you will learn to become wise. If what the child said was true then collusion took place to concoct a story, believing if they wrote a contrived article the judge in the family court would give it credence because it was published in a mainstream newspaper.

If you ever failed to see the face of evil then look at it now!

Writing a slanderous article when your mind is already made up isn't journalism. It is evil doing. The female reporter was given plenty of evidence that what she was told was untrue but she chose to disregard the truth. She wanted to believe what she heard because it fit into her scheme of things. She printed lies or twisted truth. Yellow journalism.

St. Paul and Moses started their walk with the Lord as murderous men. He lifted them up in spite of themselves. He does it for us all when we come to the end. I haven't reached the darkest valley of St. Paul and I am not as good as Jesus. I can't be the Chief Sinner like Paul, and I can't be the Chief Savior like Jesus. I can only be the way I am. If the way works for God, He will save me for it. It is my faith that He has!

I have been put into my place by the founding Father of the Universal unknown. I know myself to be ordinary. It is my ordination to remain that way. I am just a guy who puts his pants on the same way as every other guy, one leg at a time. In fact, I am a repentant man who needs all the help he can get to make certain he doesn't fall in to the trap of trying to become good and perfect to please others. Trying to do so - be good for others sake - is an impossible task. It hurts like burning hell fire! Only the Lord can be good, and He did it already. If what He did isn't good enough then we have no hope.

What would the purpose of faith be without His Work?

The belief system of Jesus Christ has come to my rescue. I share it with you. It has saved me from the disgrace of trying to look good in the eyes of people.

I owe nothing to anyone for nay reason whatsoever because they damn well didn't create me. I have one Lord, and I have one Master. I do what I can to keep in touch with Him, and He does what He can to touch me with his Gracious and Glorious Spirit; and, if some are jealous of our relationship then they can just go to hell. If they want to use me to do it then what can I say? I am sure they will make me their icon - the symbol of the devil! Why not!

I am a spiritual teacher. I don't know everything but what I do know will save your soul for Christ sake! You may not agree with me but you can't help realize my faith is of a convicted sort. I don't ask that you believe in me. I do ask that you believe in yourself for that is the true doorway to your Maker.

Jesus took the inner path before you, and Christ met him in His heart with a compassion for the humanity. If you do the same you do yourself well, and we are friends. If not, well not!

I'll never be good enough for some and I'll never be bad enough for others. And neither will you!

I proclaim the gospel of peace. I am in quiet meditation.

============================

To the end, Bill denied everything. He said he had nothing, says nothing, did nothing and was responsible for even less.

Well, we will see about that.

Here's to the hope the Spiritual Rights Foundation will continue to do nothing, say even less and victimize no more spiritual seekers.

Psykics on Skype

A hilarious item on the Academy for Psychotic Studies' website is the section they have for psychotic readings via Skype.

We all know what Skype is and we all know we can use it to call anyone on the internet anywhere in the world for free.

The Academy for Psychic Studies figured it out too.  Maybe not quite as well as the rest of us, but they figured it out.

You see, they offer psychotic readings on Skype to anyone anywhere in the world with a Skype connection.  That's a great display of their interweb awareness and high technology knowledge, right?

Well before you start calling them the next Microsoft, check this out: in order to schedule that psychotic reading, you have to call up on their toll-free line - which only works in the Continental United States.

If you want a psychotic reading from anywhere else (like say, Canada) you are SOL.  And so are the leaders of the Academy as those who might have contacted them and paid good money for a psychotic reading can't possibly arrange a reading.

So, why not do it over the regular phone line?  Uh, it's called international phone rates and since the academy requires international callers to place the call from their own phone, it's a damn expensive call for those who receive a reading from the trained psychotics.  No one from outside the USA calls, even though the Academy craves the attention and revenue those callers can provide.

Of course, it makes perfect sense to have people call up on the phone for a Skype reading - even though Skype is an online PHONE service.  I wouldn't expect the Academy would use the webcam feature either.  Using a webcam would mean people can see your face and that would mean they could recognize you and if they did, they might stumble upon this blog and they would find out all the things the academy wouldn't want them to know and...

Well, you get the idea.

It's just another example of the technical and business genius of the Witches of Ellsworth - and another great example of how operating on the cheap has a financial return in proportion to your investment.

Doomsday Dingbats

OK, so May 21, 2011 has come and gone without the predicted apocalypse.

Unfortunately for those who hate this blog, I'm still here.  Unfortunately so are the people who believed the world would begin its end of days on the 21st.

Now, we don't need a psychic reading to know predicting the exact end of the earth is just not possible for any one of us.  Most of us (even the most devoutly religious) don't spend much time pondering the end of days.  However, a few do.

One of the most perverse, demeaning, useless and completely warped "classes" at the Academy for Psychic Studies has been the pinnacle of their "spiritual education" - the Revelations Class.

You might think the Revelations Class would focus on the study of the Book of Revelations.  In most cults, the obsession on the end of days and the coming apocalypse is pretty common.  The Academy for Psychic Studies isn't much different.  However, what went on in the Revelations Class was anything but the study of Revelations, Armageddon, the second coming (since God, Jesus Christ, Buddha, Allah and Mohammad were all simultaneously resident in the body of Bill Duby, the second coming already came) or anything even remotely related to any real biblical topics.

Of course, Bill and his Witches insisted the hapless attendees of the Revelations Class study the topics they directed and only those topics they directed.  Usually, it was the same damn stuff from Emanuel Swedenborg or the same passages of the Bible restated and re-told over and over again.  To Bill and the Witches of Ellsworth Street, repetition was the key to indoctrination and control of their victims.

Was the book of Revelations discussed in a scholarly or otherwise meaningful way?

What, are you kidding?

So, what was revealed at the "Revelations Class"?

Well, the leaders taking advantage of the opportunity to browbeat, demean, demoralize and dehumanize a captive audience pretty much revealed how sadistic, mean, unfair and unreasonable they were was revealed:

Revelations Class - where Bill's true nature was revealed.

It wasn't a revelation as they showed those qualities pretty much every day, but at least during the Revelations Class, they revealed their sadism and depravity in a spiritually acceptable way.

Read this if you want to see how the leaders pummel grown adults into a thin paste:

The Amazing, Unending Classes at the Academy for Psychic Studies

The "classes" at the Academy for Psychic Studies are deliberately and purposefully lead the new recruit one warm and nourishing step at a time from that first energy healing to the first psychic reading to the introductory classes right into the Clairvoyant Training Program.  It's there where your indoctrination is completed and your transition from psychic student to psychotic minister is completed.

The Clairvoyant Training Program is also where you will be led to the Revelations Class where your compliance and complete servitude will be reinforced with weekly beatings in front of as many of your peers and colleagues as can be mustered (well, they are only psychic beatings that leave only mental and emotional scars - so that's OK, isn't it?) and with as many bogus and pointless readings and psychotic interpretations of the same damn biblical passages over and over again.

What makes things even worse is that your own interpretations and personal meaning of the assigned passages will not be accepted.  What will be accepted is a meaning and interpretation that looks just like the hundreds or thousands written before you - and those acceptable writings were actually heavily re-written or totally re-done by a member of the fully-indoctrinated, boot-licking and compliant staff.

Think back to your school days.  Did any of your teachers re-write your assignments so they could be in an acceptable format?  Were they re-written so you would look like a compliant student to the school administration?

Hell no!  If you were't up to speed it's the short bus to drool school for you, buster.

A cult has different a agenda, though.  First among the list is their need to keep all their followers in line and compliant.  The cult needs to have living bodies to carry out their evil agenda.  Allowing individual thought allows the followers to figure out they are being screwed, and no self-respecting cult could allow that.

Cults also have to keep their followers yearning for more - more recognition, the hope of getting something like a retirement cottage after some time of service.  Maybe a chance at running a school of their own in San Jose or something; maybe even a chance to head up the whole damn garbage heap.

Of course, like all cults, the Academy for Psychic Studies does all of that and more.  Those who receive the most praise were those who fell in line walking, talking, living and breathing the cult's party line and regurgitating the defecations of the leaders over and over again.  If you want details, well you'll just have to wait on that.  There's only so much time I have to write, you know.

But all of us who were there saw it.  We lived it.  We may have even been all I say and we have have done unto others as was done unto us.  After all the time we have spent at the Academy, we know what we have seen there.  We know what we experienced.

It's not enough for me or anyone to just say what exactly happened.  For way too many, reading the details is just plain voyeuristic pleasure. I've heard from one woman who chided me and all of you saying that detailed stories were necessary for her to believe anything we said.

Think about that: she's trying to goad you, me and everyone else into releasing details about ourselves and those we know for no more reason than she wants to hear about them.  I didn't recall that she released any details about herself and her cultic experience, though.  I'm really not in the mood to satisfy someone's voyeuristic urge to watch a cultic reality show.  How about you?

At any rate, we have two separate but equally strange and frustrating situations:  one is a religious nut who uses the Book of Revelations to pollute the airwaves and scalding our eyeballs with deluded predictions of the end of the world in order to mock us with claims that he and his saved followers will ascend into Heaven while the rest of us will be eaten by zombies.

The other is a psychotic.

I think I'd rather take my chances with the zombies.

Dumb and so-dumb-it's-amazing

Like everyone else, I am constantly amazed by the resourcefulness and overall tenacity of everyday people.  Every now and then, you'll hear a story of someone reaching higher then thought possible.

Today I saw something so damn stupid, I can't believe it actually happened.

I was perusing the LIVE 365 site and found the Academy for Psychic Studies official internet radio site was playing a certain recording of a certain "psychic church service".

It was the infamous service where the psychic bishop of this psychic church not only admonished her followers to brush off any and all persons who might have philosophical or other differences with the Academy for Psychic Studies she also represents that utterly demented group as "the picture, the icon of.... Jesus Effing Christ".  All that took place in July of 2008.

I have the excerpts on this page but if you'd like to see for your self that the July 2008 church service is indeed back online, you'll have to go to the live365.com site and search for "Spirit Talk" to find it.  Don't ask why I can't put up a link but I will say it has something to do with the Witches of Ellsworth Street not wanting me to tell any of you what information about them is to be found online.

That particular psychotic church service is the watershed moment for many now-ex-members.  The message in this recording is clearly aimed at tightening the cult's grip on the few remaining followers and further insulate them from information that would allow them to awaken from their forced slumber.

The actual effect was the exact opposite of the intent - a condition that only the psychotics at the Academy for Psychic Studies could have created for themselves.  More followers departed after that strange and mean-spirited sermon.  More attention from the outside was focused on the psychotic church.  And more who would have come for the first time and stayed for a while never even made it to the front door.

Now some of you would think the posting of the July 2008 psychotic church service was done as a way to bait we dissidents and commenter's to make statements the Witches can pounce upon.  That's actually a valid observation but one that I have little belief is the actual intent.  You see, that kind of intent requires planning, good execution and the kind of complex and structured thought the Witches of Ellsworth Street and their addled followers just can't engage.  There is no damn way the brain-dead followers could concoct that scheme nor could the Witches have torn themselves away from their obsession of squeezing every available follower for spare change and other items of value to have dreamed up something that complicated.

Where's an Iraqi with a shoe when you need one?

I've been reviewing some of the recent SRF radio shows "Total Prosperity".

I'm not listening to every moment of every broadcast (who the hell has time for that?) but I do listen enough to figure out what is being said.

In the beginning, the show was a soapbox for Bill Duby (who for years was Total Prosperity's permanent "guest") to espouse his particular brand of philosophy and world view. Even if you didn't agree with him, the show was at least entertaining and did find an audience. The back and forth between Bill and Debi was somewhat entertaining as well.

Since Bill's death, Total Prosperity has struggled to find a direction. Without the unique point of view that was Bill Duby, the remaining "hosts" and "guests" just can't seem to find anything interesting to talk about week after week. So, every show deteriorates into the usual crap topics inspired by recordings made at SRF many years ago.

Topics such as:
Leaving the Painful Past Behind
Family Programming
Men and Women
Can You Unhook?

Not only are the topics on Total Prosperity old, worn and incomprehensible (can anyone define "unhook" - you can't find it by listening to Total Prosperity) these topics defecated on the public airwaves lack the insight (albeit a warped and deluded insight) from the long-time permanent guest.

Total Prosperity has become not only boring and tired but an utter waste of time.

So, in the tradition of "Amazing Discoveries" (that pioneering "show" of the late 80's), Total Prosperity has morphed into the radio infomercial for the Spiritual Rights Foundation.

While I've kept no statistics on how many times a class, workshop, Clairvoyant Training Program Open House, Hypnosis Training Program course or any other of the money-making ventures of the Spiritual Rights Foundation are mentioned, it's so much that I'm waiting for Billy Mays to start shouting at me.

I'm telling you, if I could heave a shoe over the radio...

The Academy for Psychic Studies - The Dead Zone

I found this piece online just recently.  Well, it was like, two minutes ago.  It started me thinking about the way the Academy for Psychic Studies is organized and run and especially about who's left and what's left of their assets.

The writer was asked about the likelihood of Scientology ordering a mass suicide.  I agree it's not likely to happen at Scientology for exactly the reasons he states but whether the Academy for Psychic Studies will conduct a mass revolutionary statement that results in suicide of those who aren't in the inner circle isn't so clear:

Despite there being no classical earmarks of the likelyhood of mass murder/suicides, there does seem to be a set of requirements that cult followers adhear to before such incidents happen.
Scientology holds most of these requirements except for one; a major one: followers are usually in the criminal cult for less than 2 years. There's a constant flow of financial swindles and victims of fraud among the 99% of the rubes that come in, empty their pockets, twigg to the fraud, and then move on, poor but much wiser. Contrast that to cults which experience mass murder suicides. They have larger percentages of followers that have been in for decades with small percentages of short-term financial victims. Even with the horribly debilitative braiwashing that Scientology forces its victims to pay for, only a small percentage of their victims become so far gone as to fall into a mindset which would allow themselves to kill themselves or others on order

In the case of the Academy for Psychic Studies, I won't say there is no possibility of a mass suicide or any kind of violent action.  After all, there are members of the Academy who own firearms and they do insist on feeding you special meals.

Think of this: if it is in the best interest of the current leaders to pack up all the available cash and assets of the Academy and steal away into the night (leaving the current hapless membership to fend for themselves) what would the excuse be for that midnight escape?

Certainly they would point to this blog and me as the culprits.  I am sure they would haul out a list of bad guys and enemies to the sorry state of SRF and parade us in effigy in front of whoever is left.

Would that action cause a spiritually revolutionary act?

Maybe.

Because who is left at the spiritual cesspool are the people who have been there the longest (most being there for one or even two decades) and with their entire lives bound and entwined in the SRF way, I would bet there is at least a thought of drinking the Kool-Ade for real.

Think about it: the leaders pack up and run, leaving the members some old buildings and no real income except for their own.  When the last of the deluded followers realize their decades were nothing more than a scam and that we were more right than wrong, you know what they would feel.

And of course, as I wrote a piece called "Psychic Suicide"  the spectre of suicidality is strong at SRF.

You might think I would welcome a Jonestown-like massacre.  I don't.

The followers are good and decent people (well most of them are anyway).  I don't want to see them in that desperate of a situation.

I don't know what to think, actually.  I am sure there is some talk about who they would take with them if they wanted to make their final exit.  I am sure there is a lot of fear of being tossed into the real world if SRF were to implode (as it probably will).  However, I am also sure at least a few will bail out before the Kool-Ade is served.

I just wonder who will drink it and who they plan to eliminate before they do.

Searching for Bill

I can't believe this kid is so beautiful.

I can't believe this is the same kid.
One finger can sure say a lot...

As you guys already know, I keep a web log of readers. One of the things I track is the search terms people use to find the blog.

So what's been searched on lately?

Rev. Bill Duby.

Yup, the maniacal, psychotic founder of the worthless Academy for Psychic Studies.

If you are wondering why, I am too. Maybe the warped and idiotic doctrine of the Right Reverend Bill Duby's Academy is making it's way around the world and the spiritually elite are searching for Bill's writings in their yearning for more gems of wisdom from the master.

Sure.

Can I interest you in a game of Three Card Monty too?

I think it's something similar, but different (if that makes any sense).

What I knew would happen did happen. Since Bill Duby's Academy has become so paranoid they have removed all materials authored by Bill and pretty much eliminated Bill's history from the net and from their own crooked past.

By withdrawing any kind of public message about themselves or Bill, they have lost control of their message and image, leaving it up to third parties like me.

The effect is predictable: Bill's image illustrated on this blog, in "Spiritual Perversion", media reports and all the comments left here isn't exactly like Santa Claus - maybe more like Satan. They might as well have posted his face on a dart board.

With no statement of their own, the Academy and its demented and crooked leaders are allowing the world they fear to shape their image and drive the agenda.

With Bill Duby's checkered past becoming public and the current leaders of the Academy being too stupid to address it, no wonder they are swirling down the drain.

Who do I care about?

So, I get asked frequently, "what the hell are you dong this goddamn blog for?".

Good question.

I'm also told by a few my blog reflects deep-seated emotional issues which must be addressed.  Issues such as anger, resentment and all the things the New-Age nitwits like to point out as the flaws inherent in all but themselves.  Sure, I am pissed I lost more than a decade with a cult.  Wouldn't you?  I lost out on a lot of life. I lost a lot of opportunities that will never present themselves again and I lost out on relationships and social events that will never happen again.

I am sure you all think that makes me a really pissed off son of a bitch.

Well if you do, fine.

If you believe I need to conduct therapy through writing about my own trauma (such as it was) in front of everyone, well what in the hell do you think I have been doing all this goddamn time?

But honestly, my goal is not so much to help myself (although that has been a benefit) my goal is to allow the many of potential followers to see the other side of the Academy for Psychic Studies story and make up their own mind.

While I would like to enter deep thought and reveal a side of myself that is totally unexpected and worthy of an episode of Oprah, or more likely, an ass-kicking on the Maury show, that isn't the purpose of this blog.

I can tell you with all candor I am NOT writing just to hear myself speak.  I wouldn't need to risk the Spiritual Rights Foundation/Academy for Psychic Studies filing a bogus lawsuit (which I defeated in spades) to do that.

And I'm NOT doing this to help anyone remaining at SRF to break that bond of slavery.  Even if they read this blog, there's no way anything I say will help them.  Besides, I have a strict policy to NOT assist or directly enable any current SRF member to leave the cult UNLESS that person comes to me for help.

I can't nor would I help disaffected SRF members to leave the cult.  That takes my role from writer to exit-counselor or rescuer.  I'm not about to go there.

I am open to speak with anyone who has "made separations" from the Spiritual Rights Foundation cult or is strongly looking at getting his or herself out of there.  We have coffee and donuts at the ready at any time.  I can also help those who need support to find professional help for their mind, body and living needs.

I'm not available to current, former or waffling members of the cult to listen to apologies for SRF behavior or to listen to their fondness for any of the leaders.  I just don't have time for that.  Besides, I have my opinion and I am sticking to it.

Those who remain and those who are creating defenses for the Witches of Ellsworth Street's behavior (albeit strange, selfish and really weird defenses like "your blog hurts people like me" - just wait a couple of years and you'll see how the Witches of Ellsworth Street can lay down some real hurt) are so unclear in their defense they not only cannot see the error of their ways, they are beyond help.

I think those remaining at the Academy for Psychic Studies have been in it so long and got so deeply involved, they are unable to conduct a normal life outside the context of the cult.  There may be a few exceptions.  But what I can see is a group of people in middle-age and their medicare years who are proceeding on inertia alone still unable to create their own sense of self.  They'll never leave no matter what I say.  And if they do, their minds are so enmeshed in the debris of the Academy dogma, life as a real member of Planet Earth may be impossible and they are at risk to run right back into the clutches of their tormentors.

So, if I'm not writing to help those left. then who am I writing for?

It's those who are looking for a spiritual home.  I'm helping those who can think for themselves.  I am informing those who want to know and chose their own direction; not those who want to get along by going along.

We call came into SRF with wide-eyed wonder.  We never thought there could be a place for us, dedicated to help us, committed to serving us.  All we needed to do was make the donations, take the classes, buy the recordings, buy admission tickets to the retreats, pay the tithes, pay for more classes, pay for more retreats, pay more tithes and on and on and on.

We hoped for all the things SRF promised us:  material prosperity, spiritual enlightenment, superiority of our soul.  We were the elite, learning at the foot of the cosmic master, who in turn, channeled God Himself.

People seeking their own shining star of spirit are searching and hoping for the same.

But there is one thing available to them that we never had the chance to hear:  the other side of the SRF story.

It's easier to hear that story when you have made no ties to SRF of any of the unfortunates who have succumbed to their evil ways.  It's easier to walk away when you haven't even reached the front door.  It's simpler to "cut cords" when there aren't any to cut.

This blog is a service to those who haven't heard OUR side of the story.  It's here to help those who have not become committed or who have not yet made up their minds to find the information they need to make a decision.

This blog serves those who are on the outside looking in.  If they care to know more about the Spiritual Rights Foundation from the perspective of those who have been there, they have the whole picture and the whole story from both sides.  With that information, they can make up their own minds.  Without it, their minds are made up for them - and you know what happens then...

Without the power of the blog and the internet there isn't anything I could have done for them anyway.

Happily, I understand that most people read this blog and take away a deeper understanding of the meaning and purpose of the Spiritual Rights Foundation.  It's great they can learn in a few minutes or hours what we victims discovered only after years of struggle.

But those who are not out are reading this blog.  Many who have been there and departed read as well.  Some ex-members, though, while physically outside the iron fence of SRF are still mentally trapped inside.

They fear everything non-cult like.  They think as they did before.  They still chase the demons to blame for their own troubles.  They still look for the devils to blame for their shortcomings and hail the Witches of Ellsworth Street as saviors, messiahs and anointed messengers of the undisputed holy champion of the world: Bill Duby.

I don't have time for them.

Nor do I have any desire or need to address them.

I have always asked ex-members to come to me if they like but come clean.  Before you read this blog or even attempt to contact me, you need to have a real separation from your cultic experience.  You will likely need professional help to make that transition.  You'll also need to have cut any contact with the cult and with current members.

That's a tough stance, I know.

But that is the only way this blog can be protected from those who are still trapped in cult thinking and imprisoned in the deception and fear engendered by the Spiritual Rights Foundation.

What could those poor, lost persons possibly do to this blog?

First, they distract those who need to express their outrage from having their own voice.  Second, by standing in the shadows watching us put ourselves on the line, in the public eye, they are reducing this blog and our own participation in our recovery and my mission to inform the public to nothing more than a spectator sport.

They are content to watch those of us working towards normalcy, holding our heads high and standing as tall take the brunt of the attack from the cult while they do as they always had as cult members:  thank heaven it's not them and point a finger of condemnation at us.

It's not them I care about.  In fact, it's not even me I am writing for these days.

The lawsuit the Spiritual Rights Foundation filed against me galvanized me to hone my mission and focus my efforts to one goal:

Inform the public and tell the ex-member's side of the SRF story.

As far as my personal needs go:  thanks for your concern.  However, this blog will continue to be written in the manner and style it has established.

Who's The Fairest Of Them All?

What am I gonna do when the season ends?

Hey if you are seeing this again, give it another read.  I cleaned it up and did some editing.  It's much better this time - honest!

Those of you who like a good scandal ought to like the Great YouTube Comment Scandal.

To refresh your memory, about this time in 2008 the blogs Joy and I have been writing were discovered by a certain person affiliated with the Spiritual Rights Foundation.  Later, Joy began her vlogs on YouTube.

As usual, it spread around like wildfire within the wrought iron gates of SRF and as usual, the young people were put in action to carry out the evil mission and demented messages of the leaders of SRF.

While the SRF youth somehow didn't make an effort to post their parent's and godparent's vile and evil waste products on my blog, they did make an effort to blast Joy's YouTube channel and blog with the kind of hostile, verbose, poorly thought, sophomoric, base and useless commentary you'd hear of in your local inner-city high school.

I am sure they did their masters proud.

They didn't stop online, though.  Several of the youth complained to several adults about things things they believed Joy and I did to them.

Unfortunately, they lied.  None of the transgressions the youth complained of ever happened.

That the supposed incidents were untrue never stopped the youth from acting as the pawns of the leaders of SRF - they acted on orders and spat venom at anyone in their way.

They claimed Joy spewed even more horrible venom causing personal trauma to those disaffected youth, the leaders of SRF and all the warm and nourishing psychotics who reside there.

They claimed Joy was akin to the devil himself - that a statement Joy made on YouTube (which explained the reason for removal of commenters was in response to threats made by the SRF disaffected youth) was a full admission of her vile and cruel nature.

So, it should come as no surprise that the imaginary incidents and the statements that were never made brought the youth of SRF into a weeks-long screaming tantrum.  Those same unfounded and untrue allegations found their way into the merit-less and defeated lawsuit against us.

The Spiritual Rights Foundation held their belief in their own falsehoods so strongly, they compelled two of the young people involved to write legal statements claiming personal trauma and indignation as a defense against my petition to compel SRF to pay my legal costs.

What in hell a rambling and ill-conceived statement from those two youth had to do with a legal issue was beyond anyone.  Especially the judge who was none too pleased to receive it.

The lawsuit brought by SRF complains that comments written by people from SRF on this blog and on Joy's were removed and that SRF commenters and only SRF commerters were banned from Blogger in a deliberate attempt to restrict the free speech rights of the warm and nourishing psychos behind the SRF wrought iron gates.

Unfortunately for SRF, not only does Blogger not allow the banning of any particular individual (making banning utterly impossible), they got it totally wrong (as they usually do).

Besides, all comments left by the SRF disaffected youth as well as comments left by suspected members of SRF have remained on our blogs.  Not a single one - even the most vile, hostile, juvenile and threatening (which I guess, they all are) was ever removed from Blogger.  The claim that only SRF members were excluded from our blogs was not only idiotic, it was at best a distortion. More likely a lie.

Why do I feel this way?  Simple - SRF has blogs of their own.  On Blogger.  They know better.

YouTube was a different story.

There were extraordinarily vile and hostile comments left on Joy's YouTube channel.  Those comments were removed for cause (they incited even more hostile replies and they threatened the personal safety of Joy and other ex-members).  As a result, those commenters were excluded from writing on Joy's YouTube Channel.

Sure, those people were banned and their comments removed.  They were also offered reinstatement if they promise to refrain from the personal threats and attacks they engaged in earlier.

SRF was of course incensed the SRF youth were publicly spanked for behaving like spoiled brats on YouTube and never accepted their own culpability in exploiting their follower's children.  As they always do, the SRF leaders exaggerated and distorted the events.

Those leaders didn't care that the assertions they made were blatantly false and the use of young people and children to carry out the personal whims of the leaders was reprehensible.  They and their attorney had no concern they were distorting and misrepresenting the features of Blogger and the dangerous comments left on YouTube by their own people.

If any outfit should know what Blogger and YouTube can an cannot do it has to be SRF.

So, it made their lawsuit against us appear to me exactly as it was: an attempt to frighten and intimidate Joy, me and all of you into silence.

I knew I had to fight for the basic rights and freedoms of the victims of SRF and for those who may encounter SRF or any other awful cult.  Ultimately, not only was our attorney convinced SRF was conducting an intimidation campaign - not a lawful assertion of legal rights, so did the court.  The court made them pay for their deliberate unlawful action.

Winning was sweet.  Not vengeful, as I made no personal gain other than my lawful assertion of my freedom.

I did force them to pay for my legal defense.  That's not monetary gain, conspiracy-heads.  It's simple fairness under law.

And that crushed the Spiritual Rights Foundation like a cockroach.   It's pretty clear: SRF has a short time left on the planet.

That is fair.

----------------------------

For your own personal database, here is the response Joy made to the abusers who desecrated her YouTube channel.

Before I get to that, I have to add: my opinion on the whole YouTube comment scandal was to leave all comments on YouTube as they contained the real names and real email addresses of most of the commenters.  I would have given those commenters leave to continue their reign of terror, despite the danger.  It would be a visible public record of threats and it would be one of the best testimonies against joining the Spiritual Rights Foundation and for all that is written in this blog.

As Bill Duby himself said: if you want to blow your own horn, use someone else's lips.  The comments left by Bill's disaffected youth his henchmen and henchwomen were just the lips we needed to support our cause.

Thanks for the inspiration Bill!
To all my subscribers and channel viewers. I have received some threatening comments from my youtube and blog from some disgruntled members or affiliates of the Spiritual Rights Foundation. I felt in fear of my personal safety and decided to stop the flaming remarks in hopes of diffusing the mounting bashing and threats. I have deleted all comments that have yet been posted on this channel to be democratic and from now on I will approve all comments.
joyfaith7771
I have blocked several people from making comments for various reasons including inciting and flaming. If those viewers would like to be unblocked I would appreciate an email containing; an agreement to make no threats to my husband or I or any ex-SRFs or current SRFr and to please only address topics pertaining to content in video, personal experience and facts that can be instantiated. Thank you all.
joyfaith7771

I think the SRF-ies are so used to being treated unfairly by their leaders and each other, they can't recognize fairness if it dropped out of the sky and landed on their head.  It's part of their way of being - so much a part that they believe everyone will treat them unfairly and that any request for fairness is interpreted as exploitation.

So when Joy said: "Look guys, stop intimidating people with threats to their safety and stop the abusive language that makes you sound dangerous." those from SRF who engaged in that behavior were outraged at the obvious unfair and unreasonable request to tone things down and act in a civilized (but still passionate) manner.

And when Joy said later: you are banned for now but just promise me you'll not threaten anyone and I will un-ban you, the SRF-ies were even more aggravated at the further affront to their desire to engage in conduct that would result in far more than a mild reprimand anywhere else.

Yet to the Spiritual Rights Foundation, only they hold the keys to fairness - only they are acting within reason and are acting with the true guidance of holy law.

Bill Duby, the psychotic founder of this dysfunctional and worthless organization, was fond of saying "If God be for you, who can be against you?"

Well now - how many are against the Spiritual Rights Foundation?  How many are for it?

How many have left this psychic Bedlam?  How many people are left there?

How many of them really want to be there?   How many still there would like to get out if only they had a way?

Is God for the Spiritual Rights Foundation?

I believe He's not.  In fact, I believe He's the one behind the cult's current decline and troubles.

Gee SRF, I guess that's the real reason no one is for you...

The Academy for Psychic Studies is Off The Air

Total Prosperity, the weekly radio show of the Academy for Psychic Studies is now OFF THE AIR!

Whether it is because the hosts lost interest or because it cost one hell of a lot of money to maintain is anyone's guess at this point.  My guess is that they just plain got tired of putting on a radio show once a week.  Well, maybe because no one came in for a $2000 class because of hearing it on the radio.

That doesn't diminish the importance of this news.

Actually, as the show was said to be crappy and uninteresting I am not surprised it shut down.

The Academy for Psychic Studies is based on the philosophies of the Berkeley Psychic Institute, Scientology and other fringe religions.  Not that they were expert in any of them but they used those techniques anyway.  The radio show began as a way for the founder, William (Bill) Duby to espouse his particular spiritual outlook and world view.

After Mr. Duby's death, the show was less focused on spiritual philosophies and was more focused as an infomercial (a really bad infomercial) for classes and services peddled by the Academy for Psychic Studies.

I remember being on the show once or twice.  It was an hour of listening to Bill spew his world view and a moment or two of giving brief psychic readings to callers who never failed to ask about their relationships, work life or family.  There was only very rarely someone who called up and asked a question on-topic.  I guess it was because none of the "hosts" were talented enough to engage listeners in a particular topic.  In fact, their hour of rambling was pretty boring and not at all informative.  Oprah it was not.   Maybe more like a demented Billy Mays.

Anyway, Total Prosperity is now off the air.  Off the air is as it should be.  I will say that archived shows are available on Live365 if you search for Spirit Talk Radio.  They did have Total Prosperity shows featuring Bill Duby on Live365 as well.  I searched for it.  I couldn't find it.  Maybe you can.  If so, let me know.

Lately, the Academy for Psychic Studies has withdrawn many of their public communications.  The web site is stripped down, the newspaper is gone, the blogs are dead, the Facebook page is pathetic and of course, the YouTube vids have been taken down.  Now the last vestige of their public presence is gone as well.  At a time where the Academy should be increasing their public presence and promoting their message, they are hiding down a rabbit hole of their own making.  They are sticking their head in the sand.

They are - crap, they are just too damn scared of the world to have any communication with it.

So tell me, how is it that a group that needs to gain members from the public won't communicate with it?  And why is that such a smart strategy to revive their flagging fortunes?

I would imagine the Academy for Psychic Studies will blame me for the demise of their prized radio show.  Obviously, I have no control over the success or failure of their public messages or their radio show.  Anyone who reads this blog isn't listening - at least not for spiritual enlightenment.  They are listening for a laugh or to find a reason to make fun or them.

And those who do want to listen for personal fulfillment - aw hell, no one is listening for that.  They are all calling in to the toll-free line so they can get a toll-free psychic reading from the Academy psychotics.

While Bill Duby was alive, his mix of Scientology and all the other fringe religions he sort-of, almost understood was somewhat entertaining.  Kind of like listening to your grandmother curse the world as she tries to figure out how to use a BlackBerry.

Bill had a way of talking about spirituality in such an esoteric way, you had to listen just to see what nutty thing he'll come up with next.  I remember he once spoke of all the spiritual reasons Princess Diana had to die.  One of them had to do with some kind of conspiracy within the Royal Family.  Uh, yeah....

As for 9/11, he made the spiritual pronouncement: they're just jealous of what we have and that going after anyone in between us and the terrorists responsible was fine as long as we get Bin Laden.  Ummmm, OK.

That is stuff I won't miss.  I'll also not miss having my stomach lurch every time I heard that damn show.  I guess I won't miss the Billy Mays shilling of all the money-making classes, services and products the Academy for Psychic Studies wants you to buy.

Even though the Academy shills so many of their classes, workshops, retreats, recordings, videos, books and their 900 Psychotic Reading line, very few (probably no one) dropped their hard-earned money for any of that.

During the last ten years, those of us who realized how we were being exploited, cheated and generally taken advantage of turned to the news media, print publications and the internet to tell our stories.  Steve Sanchez wrote a chilling tell-all book on his experience at the Academy.  There were several news articles that told the stories about all the things the Academy for Psychic Studies does not want you to hear.

And there is this blog.  I have to say, there has been a lifetime pageview of over 35,000.  That's pretty good for a blog.

There are so many of us telling our stories here and elsewhere those vibes are travelling all over the world.  Our stories are becoming legend and our experiences are considered as fact.  The number of hits to this blog rose whenever the Academy announces their classes.  The number of students have dropped over the years from a few to nothing.  More and more public rebuke has been thrown at the Academy for Psychic Studies.  More and more, the Academy for Psychic Studies moves closer to irrelevance.

Still, I think my influence isn't enough to crush the late and not at all beloved Total Prosperity.  Thanks to the rambling, confused conversation, the lack of focus, the horrible production values and the fact they have totally misread the desire of the public for their message (if there was one, that is), the hosts of the show seem to have done a fine job of ruining it without anyone's help.

We who have been there saw it every day: the Academy for Psychic Studies' worst enemy is themselves.

So join me in raising a glass to the end of this useless radio show.  I'm having a nice pale ale.

Hot Shots

As there has always been, discontent is simmering below the calm surface of the Spiritual Rights Foundation cesspool.

Even more people want out.  Way out.

So, what's stopping them?

Certainly some have resources and an external support network in the area to ease that transition.  They are strong willed and intelligent people.  They aren't the stereotypical bumbling cult member speaking in terms that can only be described as hallucinatory.

So, if they have everything going for them if they want to leave the cult, why wouldn't they?

Mind Control.

There are many former members of the Spiritual Rights Foundation who can't stand what is written in this blog.  Now, I have proven in Superior Court that there is no untruth here and I have an absolute right to voice the opinions you see here.  But those ex-members don't care.

Bill Duby's relentless and psychotic drive to control the hearts, minds, soul and bodies of his followers instilled so much fear in the SRF Faithful, that even when they separate from his grasp, they are still controlled by fear, consumed with guilt and paralyzed from any action that would help them achieve true freedom.

The overwhelming guilt, the paralyzing fear keeps them away from the information they need to help them.  And that information is right here in this blog.

Just as those who hate SRF, all it stands for and all it has done to ruin lives and destroy spirits avoid this blog like H1N1, those who wish to leave can neither read this blog nor can they separate from the very thing that has caused their mental and emotional pain.

Bill Duby's grasp of  their soul has extended from his grave directly to the heart of their being.  Bill's deranged mentality, his psychotic vision, his psychopathic disregard for the well being of his followers lives on through the Witches of Ellsworth.  That iron grip on the remaining SRF Faithful, the guilt, the fear, the dire predictions of doom and gloom keeps the victims of the Witches of Ellsworth under the Witch's greedy thumbs.

I suppose that is one reason for holding more trance retreats and keeping whoever is left busy with whatever the perverted leaders can dream up.  Idle hands are the devil's workshop, you know.

*********************************************************

In the cult apartment complex in Berkeley, there is a special unit there reserved for a low-vibration bonehead to live in.  It is a garage converted so a toilet and sink could be located.  No shower or bathing facilities.  Initially, it was intended as an office.  It turned into an apartment.

The low-down a-hole at the bottom of the spiritual ladder had the great honor of being housed there (kind of like the Security Housing Unit at Pelican Bay).  I know this.  I lived there.

After I escaped, another guy was placed there.  He suffered years of abuse there and just recently got out by the skin of his teeth.

So, it is allegedly being re-purposed as an office.  Who knows for what business.  There aren't many left at SRF.  And the ones remaining are under the greedy thumbs of Angela Silva and Robin Dumolin.

I think they just wanted the guy living there out of the way.  They always hated him but kept him anyway.  Why?  He was a great scapegoat.  People would jump all over him, making him the personification of all the things they hated about themselves.

I watched in amazement and disgust (mostly disgust) as these spiritually enlightened and morally upright ministers of the SRF Cult proceeded to harass, demean and otherwise abuse this guy with insults about his appearance, intellect, career skills and perceived lack of spiritual "vibration" from dawn to, well, the next dawn.

Now that he's out of the SRF landfill, I wonder who they will turn to when they want to express their disgust for someone?  Each other?  Let's hope so.

Because as this spiritual cesspool continues to swirl down the drain of irrelevance, as its membership dwindles closer and closer to nothing, the number of available scapegoats become fewer and fewer.

In just the last two years - the two years since the Witches were clobbered with a landmark legal decision against them, so many of the deflated and weary faithful few have taken flight from the compound behind the wrought iron fence of the Academy for Psychic Studies, the place looks less like a deranged spiritual kindergarten from hell and more like the morgue in an insane asylum.

The remaining faithful are, by and large, old and older.  All but one of those on the short side of middle-age have taken the off-ramp to a better life.  The rest are just too weary, too set in their ways and just plain too beaten down to re-start the life they should have had before their cult involvement.
