Today's Title: Entitlement

Happy Days: Robin Dumolin found her new husband!
Now she's looking for a bottle of poison...

You know, when there are two people in the world who think they can have whatever they want because they want it, there's got to be a reason why.

I mean, who grows up thinking like that?  Oh, right...

Well apart from that, how did the Witches of Ellsworth Street gain a sense of entitlement so strong, they had no qualms about doing things like demand money from their followers to pay for things they wanted (and could afford anyway), pay for things their Golden Child wanted (which the Witches could afford anyway), not pay for things they needed like a new public image that would at least take the stink off their cesspool and do crazy shit like file a sure-to-lose lawsuit and build illegal construction that would certainly be reported.

I won't be doing the Sigmund Freud thing and look into their childhoods and parentage.

I'll just start the story from point of hook-up.  It's when the Witches of Ellsworth Street got themselves in with a street hustler, card cheat and madman.  That guy, of course, is Bill Duby.

According to Bill, one of his friends came up to him and asked if he would get a woman out of the "nut house".  Bill said he had no idea it was Angela Silva but went to get her anyway.  After that fateful event, according to Bill, he "couldn't get rid of her".

As Bill became more and more psychotic he traveled along the path of spiritual enlightenment.  One of those events involved Angela.  According to her, Bill took her by the hand as they embarked on a trip into the light.  Bill took her out of her body.  The walls of their ramshackle apartment appeared to be breathing, Angela claims she was up in a high corner of the room and could see her own body lying on the bed.

Someone calls that a psychic enlightenment.  I call it an LSD trip.

I have heard that description from several people who took LSD - walls breathing, their spirit floating while they were lying down.  Worst of all, that trip kept coming back long after the LSD wore off.  Something in their noggins switched.

Paradoxically, Bill claimed over and over again he would have to tie up Angela and beat her to unconsciousness to prevent her from using drugs.  Also paradoxically, Bill would tell tales of Angela pulling a gun on her ex-husband after he imprisoned her in their home and beat her.  How Bill managed to avoid getting shot is anyone's guess.  Actually, how Bill figured out Angela pulled a gun on her ex and how she came to get a gun at that time was anyone's guess as well (although Angela is said to keep a rusty .38 Special in her home currently).

After establishing his psychotic school, Bill Duby was awash in young women eager to please their spiritual leader.  Maybe a little too eager.  Two young women were notable.  They were named "trouble one" and "trouble two".  I don't recall who was who but I do know the names of one of the trouble twins.

Robin Dumolin.

Bill's next tall tale was the time he says he saw Robin.  She came in with another man (who was related somehow to another notable former member - I don't remember who) and was said to be either married or engaged with him.  Robin was also said to be somewhat of a nerd.

Bill claims Robin was being mistreated by her lover and Bill, being the kind, gentle and caring man he is, swept Robin off her feet, expelled her lover from SRF and introduced Robin to a whole new level of mistreatment.

Unfortunately for us, that involved Robin being elevated to the position of Vice President of the Spiritual Rights Foundation, under Angela Silva as President and over us as no-account shitheels.

Now, Bill's master plan was complete.

With the Witches of Ellsworth Street firmly implanted as the not only the co-leaders of the Spiritual Rights Foundation and empowered to do whatever they damn well pleased, the Witches were also Bill's full-time cohorts.

In order to keep his followers following, Bill used his con man skills to weave a tale of spirituality so convoluted and so esoteric, no one could understand it.  So of course, if we couldn't understand it, we weren't as enlightened.  If we weren't as enlightened, we have to listen to him even more.

However, the one thing Bill could not endure was the task of keeping his flock right where he wanted them.  That required muscle.  Psychotic muscle.  When you are taking money from your marks, your really don't want them to think you are taking their money.

So, Bill assigned that task to everyone else.  Especially his two cohorts.

What was worse (for us anyway) was Bill's inherent paranoia.  As Bill was taking Social Security payments for his psychiatric diseases he was afraid his income would be cancelled if he made money from SRF.  Of course Bill totally missed that he could make one hell of a lot more on an SRF ministerial stipend than his 800 dollar SSI payment - and it would be tax-free as well.  Fucking idiot...

As that explanation made no damn sense to me at the time, I wondered what in hell would keep him out of the SRF businesses while spending whatever he damn well pleased on whatever the hell he wanted.

For Bill, after he was accused of molesting Angela's daughter, he made payoffs to his accusers so he can keep his ass out of San Quentin and his potential cellmate out of his asshole.  According to legend, Bill resigned his SRF directorial position and maintained a distance from SRF's business affairs so he would officially have no assets.  That maneuver would discourage any lawsuit (for just about any reason) as it would be not worth the time and expense of filing suit against a man who has nothing and has little prospect of having anything.

Gee, I guess I have to feel great the Witches tried to sue me and Joy.  That means we have enough net worth to hold the Witches' interest.  And they say they don't try to take people's assets...

Anyway, with Bill out of the SRF business picture there was practically no one who could keep a leash on the Witches when it came to using SRF money.  And boy did they use it.

Bill would proudly announce how his women were well taken care of and that we low-life shitbirds need to follow his lead and do likewise.

What Bill didn't say was his women were taken care of by our money and our labor.

Bill used his manic tears to envision new money-making ventures for "SRF".  Without exception, these ventures were headed by one or both of the Witches of Ellsworth Street.  Also without exception, these ventures were providing the Witches with money while the Witches did little to no work.  And if the SRF enterprise Liberty Construction is a model (and I'm sure it is) a percentage of the income (that's not profits, it's income before expenses like wages are paid) went directly into Robin and Angela's cauldron.

While all this skulduggery was going on, Bill made wild and likely exaggerated claims that Angela had superior spiritual powers and such a connection with God Himself that she was second only to St. Peter in piety and psychic wisdom.

I forget what he said about Robin.  Probably "pay her, or else..."

Bill's wild and too-true-to-be-real stories about his Witches not only elevated their status in the eyes of the followers but inflated the egos of the Witches to the point where we had to serve their wants and needs far before our own needs and aspirations could be fulfilled.

Who needed a new car?  The followers had to do it the hard way and settle for whatever they could get for their meager budgets.  The Witches could buy any new car any damn time they wanted.  Clothes?  Followers were literally buying off-the-rack at the Salvation Army and Goodwill.  The Witches shopped at Macy's and other fine department stores.  How about real estate?  Only the older couples who owned their homes well before they were entrapped at SRF held real estate.   The rest could never even come close to owning a home -  at least not until they could escape safely.  We know the Witches held the SRF Blue Sky Ranch.  Who knows what else they are holding.  Oh right... all the real estate SRF owns.

While Bill's followers were routinely going broke, his Witches were routinely getting their hands on more money.  Angela was famous for dropping a gigantic, thick envelope in the tithe basket (to inspire the shitheels to give more)  - then fishing it back out when no one was looking.  Robin was regularly seen counting money.  We thought it was her job to keep the money flowing for our well being.  Actually, she kept the money flowing for her own well being.

The Witches traveled in comfort using Bill's luxury RV or one of their luxury cars.  They provided slimy and barely-edible slop for the followers while they dined on steak.  Expenses for health care, dental work, even Angela Silva's botox and facelifts were hardly a care for the Witches while the followers depended on assistance from the public health system.

Life at the top of the SRF garbage heap was good.  So good, there should have been no need to rock the boat and risk sinking the ship.

Unfortunately, that's not how the Witches think.

Despite their comfortable position, the Witches craved more and more and more:  More money.  More power.  More adulation.  More compliance.

And it's that level of greed that is the Witches' downfall.  Their hunger for money and their urge to abuse their position power to manipulate even their closest comrades was intended to spur their victims into working harder and motivate them into doing all the idiotic things necessary to put them back into the Witches' good graces.  That, of course, is impossible if you think about it.  And instead of motivating the followers for even more work, more money, more running in circles and more loving support, it just motivated followers to walk out the door, leaving the Witches standing alone at a leaky cauldron.

The events of the last few years have borne that out.  What with the church bishop and head of their formerly lucrative ISHI Hypnosis scam leaving due to the Witches cutting her monthly stipend to zero and her share of ISHI Hypnosis revenues to less than one fifth (and recovering by way of charging rent on the bishop's church-owned apartment as well as other charges) with their most enthusiastic female follower running like hell and their general membership crashing down to a single digit, I'd have to say the Witches of Ellsworth Street have been demonstrating what they have been doing well for years: taking advantage of people and pissing them off.

Those who wanted a bit of the good life that was denied them for decades were so degraded and exploited, they finally answered the alarm clock and jumped in the shower.  Their awakening allowed them to see the Witches as exactly who they are: mean, evil and greedy (I guess that could be the names of the remaining SRF board members).

I think it's telling that the only remaining active board member is an endomorph whose own lack of character is legendary; and his own lust for power and vengeance is fed by his obsequious loyalty to the Witches who simultaneously reward and exploit him.  Bill Duby kept talking about "birds of a feather" or in his terms "like attracts like".  With a board of directors as homogeneous as this, you can expect you'll be treated like dirt.

But that really illustrates how the Witches think: when two women are elevated to the level of gods, when their positions allow them unabated power over their followers and when those women abuse their power only to gain advantage over their flock, it's more than a situation of uncontrolled and unrestrained despotism.

It's more like the Brides of Frankenstein have got loose and are dragging their monster behind them.

The Academy for Psychic Studies - Ejected

At the Academy for Psychic Studies, it costs to stay,
it even costs to get thrown out.

One of the rare blessings the Witches of Ellsworth Street can bestow upon their weary flock is the blessing of being tossed out the door of the Academy for Psychic Studies.

Now of course (as is their usual practice) that ejection from that spiritual haven is made with as much trauma as they can possibly muster.  The unfortunate victim is generally summoned to a private meeting in one of the cult's torture facilities with the Witches or their hit-man so they can hear first-hand how he or she has failed in their spiritual duty to keep Robin Dumolin's day spa treatments paid for or Angela Silva's QVC account in the black.

Some are tossed because of the relentless pressure to pay more and more and more.  Others are expelled for reasons that make no damn sense at all.

I've known of people being shown the door just because they are "not teachable".  Translation: "you still have a mind of your own".  Mostly, they aren't dumb enough to accept all of the psychotic ramblings of the Academy for Psychic Studies and worse, they don't shell out the ridiculous fees demanded to participate in more psychotic training and mind control.

Quite a few people are told "you are too powerful for the place".  What that means is: "we don't really know why we don't like you, but we don't like you". There's not much to say after that.

Two such people were a couple of gals who were pretty much from the inner city.  You can tell from their dress and demeanor.  While they were treated with suspicion, I actually liked them and spent some time with them.  Maybe they weren't all the cult leaders wanted in a follower but they seemed good enough to me.

When Angela Silva got a cold call from a mortgage broker, she immediately believed those two paid a ton of money to enroll in the Clairvoyant Training Program for the purpose of stealing Angela's mail and making a fraudulent loan application.  If you think about the circumstances, you'll see that was just plain idiotic.

Why pay money to steal mail when you can come around to a healing clinic for free to steal mail?  Why would they give Angela's phone number to a mortgage guy if they wanted to get the money?  And as this happened during the mortgage mess, why didn't Angela Silva, psychic extraordinaire who can sniff out a lie a mile away, figure out it was just another scam call?

Nope.  Angela Silva ordered the two gals to be ejected immediately and the bigger, fatter and obnoxious males were dispatched to intercept the two at the door and tell them "you are too powerful for the place" and chase them down the street to the door of the Berkeley Psychic Institute.  No kidding. We were told to send the two to BPI.

People were ejected in gruff and perfunctory manners regularly.  Being told they are too powerful, unteachable or just plain un-liked.  Some were just shown the door when the were too overwhelmed with personal issues to spend all their waking and sleeping hours doing the Witches' bidding.

Every one of them paid the price upon ejection.

Bills for imaginary unpaid debts continued to be sent.

Some report bills were sent to their mailbox monthly and out of some sense of duty, they were paid.

Others paid an even bigger price.

The sense of betrayal, loss and humiliation at the manner of their ejection triggered PTSD symptoms, depression or other mental or emotional conditions.  Some still struggle with those issues.

A few try to hang on, attending the sham "church" services or the useless "healing clinics" in the hope they may find some redemption.  Of course, they attend whatever events they can and pay out whatever is demanded of them. Even with the regular payment of hundreds of dollars a month, there's no redemption - but the Witches cash the checks anyway.

Some try to re-enter after their ejection.  None of those people ever stayed.  I guess the second time around opened their eyes.

I know of one person who left somewhat disappointed as their experience with the cult was much less than desired.  Nice call.  However a few months later, that person returned saying all her friends were in the cult.  Her involvement in the cult took so much of her time, her usual circle of friends abandoned her.

Now all the persons I have seen leave the cult experienced a trauma and were in the grips of fear when they left.  It's the indoctrination of the cult that sets up that awful situation.

Not only did the psychotic founder expound on the dangers of leaving the cult, so did the Witches.  Their motivations weren't so much concern for your emotional health, they just wanted to make the prospect of leaving the Academy's atmosphere of mind control and exploitation so traumatic and daunting, anyone who escaped their clutches would have to pay in a manner that costs far more than money.

The final group who departed this spiritual shitheap were, as a whole, in fear of the outside world.  I know several who say they stayed because of fear.  Fear of the things freedoms provides.  Fear of planning their own lives.  Fear of making their own decisions.

One such person was gripped in fear until the Bishop made the decision to make her way out the door.  Now that person has embraced her own life and is living it to the fullest.  She's still damned afraid of retaliation by the witches, though and while I am sure she has read this blog, there's no way she'll ever acknowledge it.

And that is what awaits the new recruit of the Academy for Psychic Studies.  The love-bombing and good vibes the newbie feels at the beginning of his journey last long enough to ensnare his soule and capture his mind.  Then it is a life of indentured servitude and prostration to the whims of the Witches.  If you don't like that - well, there's the door and the world the Witches put you in fear of awaits to exploit and defame you just as bad as you'll find in the Academy.

When leaving an organization is more frightening than joining, when the prospect of being removed at a moment's notice for imaginary reasons is ever-present, what is the sense in joining in the first place?

And what would you think when a spiritual haven like the Academy for Psychic Studies creates the fear of leaving them, then uses that fear to ensure your departure is as traumatic as possible?

Yeah, I wouldn't want to join either.

The Academy for Psychic Studies - Turd Polishing

No matter what you do with the Blue Sky Ranch,
it's still a double-wide from the 60's

So, the infamous and decrepit Blue Sky Ranch has a sale pending.

Come on, it had to happen.  Final price has not been disclosed but I would imagine any offer would have to be well below listing price.  Why wouldn't it? The damn thing has been on the market for over a year and the areas that were gutted (thanks to my report to the county authorities) were unfinished as The Witches of Ellsworth Street were too pissed to think straight.

The ranch has, of late, been unkempt, neglected and just exploited for whatever value the Witches could extract from it - just like they do to the followers of the Academy for Psychic Studies.

Those of us who have lived through this nightmare can tell you:  it's a nightmare that must end and now, it will.

So many people broke their backs laboring in the hot delta sun or penetrating winter cold to fulfill a perverse and psychotic vision.  The promises of a place for rest and recovery from the pressures of the city were dashed when Angela announced all those who come to the Blue Sky Ranch were to be working or paying.  Any hope of a community where loyal ministers could retire for life in a cottage provided by the Academy sunk into the swamp faster than the trailer the Witches put on stilts.  A productive farm?  Not a chance.  The Witches killed more animals than they sold!

Some will look on the Blue Sky Ranch with fondness.  They also believe no one was taken advantage of either.  The rest of us are just glad it's over, never to be resurrected.

As for me, I'm glad I had the unmitigated balls to contact the Contra Costa Building Inspection service and report the illegal construction.  I was even more happy that it was ordered to be taken down.  Even better, I was happy to see that fines were applied as well as additional property tax because the Witches were more intent on obfuscation and concealment than being good citizens.

Now that the property is being sold, I have to address some of the people who claimed my actions were based in vengeance or some other kind of unwarranted motivation.

Are you fucking kidding me?

Your neighbor does some fucked-up-shit to his house (and one of mine did) that endangers the safety and integrity of your home or does some construction on the DL that allows him to do something totally illegal that will eventually fuck up your insurance rates because when his house falls over, it will take yours with it and your report to the city is an act of vengeance?

Eat me.

The construction activities of the Witches were indeed illegal and they were forced to remedy it - as well as pay fines and increased taxes.  Of course the consequence was a safe and legal building.  That a poor sucker thinking he's buying a nice ranch for himself and his family doesn't deserve to have a little protection from the Witches legerdemain never occurred to those who cry "vengeance".

Sure, I might have said nothing.  Someone would make an offer on the Ranch, find that financing was impossible as the building was not flood-safe and therefore disqualified from National Flood Insurance (a must for any mortgage lender).  Maybe that buyer would find private financing or would pay cash (which would make Robin Dumolin's withered clam dripping wet with excitement) and later discover he'd been had.  A lawsuit may begin but why make a hapless buyer suffer through legal process when he shouldn't in the first place?  Or maybe the buyer will just try to negotiate a lower price due to the illegal construction (essentially getting it for free)?  Are you kidding?

No.  The right thing was to make a report of illegal construction.  The right thing was to wait until the Ranch was on the market.  If the Blue Sky Ranch fell on the heads of the Witches, it's their property and their risk.  That, we can leave alone.

Putting one over on the public - not so much.

At any rate, this is another one of the Witches failed enterprises we will add to the long list of failed enterprises Reverend Bill Duby left behind.

And it is proof that the only profitable activity Bill Duby, Angela Silva and Robin Dumolin ever engaged in was fleecing their followers and keeping them under their thumb.

The Biggest Losers

Anyway, while I was stuck in front of the TV watching people get whipped to an inch of their lives, made to do things they would never would have thought to do so viewers can take pleasure in watching their bodies move in unusual ways, I realized it was the "Biggest Loser" on the big screen and not porn.

Of course my mind works in wonderfully warped ways.  Tonight the perverse thought conceived in my noggin and emitted onto the interweb is how the bodies of the Academy for Psychic Studies followers, "staff" members and founders changed as they delved deeper and deeper into the depths of the psychotic miasma they call "meditation".

As I was watching "The Biggest Loser" while handcuffed to the sofa, I realized there was a certain corpulent turd who has been one cheeseburger away from a triple bypass for years.  Many others found themselves gaining extra poundage as well.

The psychotic founder, William Duby, was no exception.  When he started his psychic cesspit, Duby had a fairly trim body, reminiscent of the athlete he used to be.  At that time, Duby had been practicing the idiotic crap he learned from the Berkeley Psychic Institute for only a few years.

Some years later (and not that many after he began using the BPI bullshit) Bill Duby started to lose his athletic form and traded it in for a beer gut, pockmarked complexion, thinning hair and other such reduction in this formerly svelte appearance.

So, what's the connection?

Well, as sitting motionless for hours contemplating how your ass will be kicked if you move prematurely, or what would happen if you piss your pants because Robin Dumolin is standing nearby with a cat 'o nine tales blocking the door to the shithouse leaves little time to prepare a healthy meal or get some fucking exercise.

It never failed.  Those who entered the demoralizing and perverse practices of the Academy for Psychic Studies entered with their bodies one hell of a lot thinner (and their wallets a lot fatter) then left with their bellies hanging over their belts and the cult goon chasing them to pay the account balances that mysteriously grew and grew with unknown  charges and were never credited with payments.

You could tell who were most affected by the sedentary lifestyle: they were the people who were healthy and fit when you saw them for the first time.  After years of sitting, eyes closed, the only activity the waving of hands in the air and feeling up an imaginary rose, after years of eating only fast food on the run because the spiritual lifestyle requires you being on the road to be paraded for public ridicule, eating idiotic amounts of chocolate because Angela Silva and Robin Dumolin encourage you to satisfy your spiritual urges by buying dozens of Hershey bars from their vending machines, the slim and attractive neophytes became fat, discouraged and bitter seasoned vets (but highly psychic ones).

You would think the head psychotic would encourage his lame followers to abandon the destructive lifestyle that caused ruin to their health.

Yeah, you might.  The dead bastard did insult anyone with so much as an extra ounce of poundage and singled out those with beer guts matching his own as being so possessed , the unfortunate victim's body was trying to protect itself from the resident spirit's evil nature.

Of course, Bill's own corpulence was dismissed as psychic protection against the evils committed by his followers as his own spiritual presence was unimpeachable (under penalty of death).

So think about it: if you were practicing something that made you sit on your ass for hours a day, if you worked a "voluntary" schedule sitting around writing idiotic and incomprehensible missives, if your schedule were so filled with useless tasks and travel to decrepit and dilapidated places meals were whatever you can get at Burger King's drive-thru window, you'd make yourself a Michelin Man in no time.

If that is the case (and you know that is true for the Academy for Psychic Studies) why in hell would anyone engage in something that unhealthy for you?

Oh, it's for the two minutes of spiritual enlightenment you get just before you have a heart attack.

My bad...

The Academy for Psychic Studies - It's not made up.

Dammit, Robin!  Get a wax!
...and hit the gym while you're at it!

One of the things I noticed very strongly when I see any videos, publications, web sites or any other damn publicly available promotional crap from the Academy for Psychic Studies is the dumpy, frumpy and unimpressive appearance of the unfortunate members thrust into the public eye.

When preparing for the all-important public display, Witch Angela Silva and her counterpart Robin Dumolin benefit from shopping sprees at Macy's, mani-pedis at the day spa, botox, cosmetic surgery, the finest make-up and only the most skilled hair stylists, affording them the most angelic and divine countenance for their photo or video shoot.

The followers, however, are left to their own devices.

Most All of them have far fewer resources than the Witches, so their method of preparation for their public appearances is pretty much brushing the dandruff from their well-worn secondhand shirt, wiping their hair with gasoline to remove the grease and hoping the camera won't pick up their blemishes.

Take a look at the current Academy for Psychic Studies web site (and this link goes to the appropriate Google page - not the actual site you fucking SRF troll).

It won't take long to view the remaining staph members - there are only a few of them.  However, you'll notice something very similar about their pictures and very different about the Witches' pictures.

While the Witches have benefited from their image consultants and on-call makeup artists, the followers' appearance is nothing more than whatever they threw together in the 30 seconds they had before their picture was taken at gunpoint.

I'll have to say, one woman looks fresh-faced and takes fair pride in presenting a pleasant appearance.

The rest look like they rode a motorcycle through a hailstorm.

It's so illustrative of the vast divide between leaders and followers or in this case, Witches and their victims.

When you have the resources to present the kind of public image you want and have no responsibilities in the world except to beat your deluded followers into keeping you as carefree as you desire, you'll look as fresh as a newborn baby.

That's not just what we see in the Witches - it's an accepted scientific theory backed up by research.  I even wrote about it.

So it's no wonder that the followers look beat down, downtrodden and decrepit.

Wouldn't an extreme makeover been helpful?  Sure, if you could afford it.  These people not only cannot, they have been so brainwashed into thinking their outer appearance is meaningless they actually make their outer appearance as meaningless as it could possibly be.

Well in the warm and nourishing environment of the Academy for Psychic Studies, wouldn't the Witches of Ellsworth Street have been as charitable as they say and spent a few of their hard-stolen dollars to revive their flock and give them the appearance of vitality, prosperity and the attractiveness of, you know, living people?

As that would cost the Witches a few dollars on some nice clothes from the discount store, a beauty school student to practice makeup and hair styling on them and the annoyance of having all six of the fuckers in SRF HQ at once while a professional photographer worked magic, it was a non-starter.

Once again, the Witches of Ellsworth have used the whip when they needed to offer a carrot.

The small investment in clothes, makeup, a decent haircut and style have cost them more than the would have gained.  With the repulsive images of the followers in such contrast to the fresh-from-the-spa appearance of the Witches, more prospective victims will turn and vomit into the nearest trash can than reach for the phone for a reading or click through to a class signup.

As for what they might have gained, with appearance being important with the segment of the public interested in their targets, the frumpy and backwoods presentation of the staff members projects an image of lackadaisical and careless attitude to the public.  In the mind of the public, those who do not care for themselves would not care for the public.

So by their own public presentation  the Academy for Psychic Studies have shown once again how little they care for the welfare of those they serve and how much the Witches care for what they can get.

Slim Pickings at The Academy for Psychic Studies

Beans, Beans - The Magical Fruit...
OK, so this is what I really think about
The Academy for Psychic Studies

So during my usual perusal of the Academy for Psychic Studies' vacuous and intentionally condescending online defecations, I noticed one person in particular.

No, it's not Yoda.  It's not Fat Bastard or Fred and Ethel from I Love Lucy either.

There's a hanger-on who's just hanging on.  What the fuck she's hanging on for is anyone's guess.  Well, maybe I can figure it out - or at least take a guess.

You see, this hanger-on is a aspiring filmmaker.  She actually got a chance to  make her own film.  I actually got a chance to see it.  That is 90 minutes I'll never get back.  I was hoping to catch a nap while I saw it.  No chance of that - I had nausea that kept me running to the bathroom.

So since the film thing didn't exactly pan out for this person, she was reduced to returning to her roots (such as they are).

She's one of, oh... ONE who's commenting on the Academy for Psychic Studies' Facebook page and she has the honor of warming a metal chair during the Academy's monthly "church" service.  She must be the only one besides the six decrepit staph members at the monthly service.  I wonder how she does it?  You know, slipping out the back door before Robin Dumolin rummages around in her pockets while Angela Silva slaps her in the face.

Well, I guess she's used to Angela Silva slapping her in the face.  She's the one who was told in no uncertain terms to stop participating in psychic readings and other acts of insanity unless she was prepared to fork over a couple large as a down payment to repeat the psychic education she had completed with distinction some years earlier, and pay out some $400 a month because Angela said so.

It's not that the hanger-on was found to be deficient in her psychic education - the Witches of Ellsworth Street found themselves a little light in the bank account and the hanger-on had some extra Benji's lying around.

That's the whole thing - you never can leave the Academy for Psychic Studies unless you are willing and able to not only turn your back on them but fart in their general direction as well.  Whatever sign of weakness you may display, the Witches will be ready to pounce like a cat after a mouse.

And like a cat, they'll play with you again and again until you are exhausted.  After a brief recovery, you'll be played with again, allowed to recover again until the cycle repeats.  Your film sucks, and Angela will tell you to pay out a ton so she can help you heal the suckifying energy that caused your film to suck.  Not that a lack of talent was the real cause.  You can't con someone into paying you a shitpot of money if you say they are talent-less.  You can if you tell them you can remove energy that blocks their talent-less-ness from expressing their true lack of talent, though.

So, I guess that's why the Witches insisted the hanger-on start paying again for classes she already completed.

Now as far as who's going there and who's new.  Well, the answer is pretty much the same as always.  People come in.  People leave.  You notice I didn't say they stay.

Untrue Believers at The Academy for Psychic Studies

If you take a look at the latest crap posted on the Academy for Psychic Studies' web site, you might notice something.  Apart from the dearth of classes offered and the usual collection of useless garbage, it's the forced smiles and happy expressions on the withered countenances of the remaining staff members.

On the surface, they look like a happy bunch.  They would have to.  If they didn't, Angela Silva will throw another of her inconsolable tantrums while Robin Dumolin begins to grease up a baseball bat for a little internal spiritual healing.

So if the remaining few are so happy on the outside, what is happening on the inside?

Here's something you need to consider before you hook up with this psychotic crew: how many of them are really living the kind of life they say you would have when you are also ensnared in their web?

Well, look at one of the staff members posing so happily on the web site.  You know who that is - the one who looks like Yoda.

This person used to have a fairly normal life.  Good work, good relationships and was otherwise getting by in life.  As we all do, this person wound up hitting a couple of speed bumps in life.  No worries.  Since there are things we all face in life, that isn't unexpected.  It's a sad thing, though, to see what really happened - it isn't all the Academy for Psychic Studies wants you to believe.

Making a great start as an independent person with some business experience, she fell into a bad crowd.  That crowd was lurking behind the gate at the Academy for Psychic Studies.

Once drawn in after an easy, breezy meditation class, a warm and nourishing healing class and class after other class and even more classes she reached the pinnacle of the Academy for Psychic Studies - ministerial ordination.

So you would think such a monumental achievement would bless this person with all the universal knowledge to make her happy, healthy, wealthy and whole, right?

Yeah.  We all believed in the Easter Bunny too.

Look at her current life: living alone in a ghetto apartment with other followers and scrutinized daily for any sign she may be slipping away into a life free from the Academy.  Though of retirement age, retirement is only a dream.  Her money is spent on more classes at the Academy for Psychic Studies.  Spare time?  Well, that is spent at the Academy for Psychic Studies as well.  How about relationships with family, friends or just plain folks?  There aren't any.

Well, isn't the Academy teachings of prosperity and fulfillment designed to aid those who can have it?  Sure, and she is a great example of what happens when you can.  As a chief spokeswoman for reaching health and wealth through giving away 10% to 30% of your weekly earnings as well as giving away the first two weeks of your hard-earned wages every year AND 10% to 30% of your entire asset base (including your clothes, car, home if you own one, retirement savings and even your credit lines) every year, you have to ask how many riches and how much health she has achieved.

Well, the answer is brief: not a damn thing.

She has no home, a crap car, old clothes purchased from the Salvation Army, no retirement investments, few belongings and is alone save the five other benighted followers of the Academy for Psychic Studies.  As for health, a condition requiring hip replacement and other serious maladies have plagued her for a while now.

Whatever she did have is long gone.  Much of it spent to support the Witches of Ellsworth Street and the psychotic founder of the Academy for Psychic Studies.

But that is only one story, you say!  Well how about a few more:

There is a large fellow who is a Navy vet who spends time fooling around with networks, breaking them as often as repairing them and dabbles with essential oils for who-knows-what.  He had been a talented glass artist and is basically an OK person when not engaged in the psychotic delusions concocted by the Academy for Psychic Studies.

However, those delusions as well as his oils are all he has.

Yep.  No wife, no home, an old van to drive and not much else.  He does have a room at psychotic HQ and fills his spare time teaching classes on psychosis for the Academy, so I guess he's doing quite well.

As for the walking corpulent turd, one cheeseburger away from a heart attack, a career as a chef, musical talent, a great relationship with a beautiful woman and some prospect of a good life all flew out the window when he joined up.  So did a much lighter body.

Today's turd gripes about paying child support while getting in the face of those who aren't paying what the Witches of Ellsworth Street believe they are owed, keeping a watchful eye on the inmates of the residential confinement facility the Academy operates, struggles from day to day to keep afloat while battling health issues.  As he has a child about to enter adulthood and make that leap toward a bright, promising future, you might believe the child support payments would be turned into assistance for college fees and living expenses, right?

Sure.

If history is any guide, that money will go to the fees and expenses imposed by the Witches of Ellsworth Street for their own living assistance - like their overused American Express card.

But one couple remaining at the Academy does have a comfortable home, a retirement, nice car and is by all appearances has a normal life.

Being of retirement age, Social Security and a pension does help somewhat and having purchased a home decades ago, long before the Academy reared up and consumed them helps.

However, they do operate a day care center in their home for extra income.  So, that kind of throws the retirement thing out the window, I guess.  I would imagine without the hundreds of dollars spent on the Academy every month, the cost of gas they burn up motoring off to wherever they Academy tells them to go, eating at greasy restaurants nightly as they drive to the next Academy-required destination means they have to bring in the extra from somewhere.

As for the one person remaining, how life has changed for the better because of the Academy for Psychic Studies is immeasurable.  That means there's no goddamned way to explain it to anyone as there just isn't a way for anyone to see a change in prosperity at all - unless you want to measure spiritual awareness by way of how much of the Academy for Psychic Studies' garbage she can disgorge in your general direction.

None can truthfully say their beliefs have improved their lives in any meaningful way.  Their minds have turned into Cream of Wheat, their life security has not improved in any tangible manner and whatever life they were meant to live has been usurped and corrupted by a psychotic and his witches. No amount of their proselytization, demonstration or just plain chest-thumping has made their beliefs understandable to those who would be receptive or those would find them attractive.  Their daily struggle to survive in the face of the Academy's adversity has so overtaken them, their message of faith, prosperity and abundance sounds nothing more than that strange buzzing in your ear that happens sometimes.

When you have believers who can neither clearly express their beliefs, nor can they practice or manifest their beliefs, you have to ask: are those beliefs untrue or are the believers untrue?  Either way, whether you hear them, see them, or try to practice them, the believers are as untrue as the beliefs.

When you closely look at the Witches of Ellsworth Street, their reversal of fortune over the last few years is all you need to know about the effectiveness of their practice.  With dwindling income, evaporating interest in the Academy, an unstoppable loss of followers, their own prosperity has gone from perverse to worse.

I mean, look at the key metrics over the years:

From the mid 90's to the present, the Academy for Psychic Studies has seen an ever more rapid turnover of their elite minister staff and serious students.  While the first wave of Academy pioneers remained for well over a decade, starting in the 90's the churn rate accelerated faster and faster as the Psychotic Founder and the Witches of Ellsworth Street became more and more aggressive with their followers.

At any one time, the faces you would see at the Academy would change.  Some were new.  Others were familiar.  Some you had known were no longer there, never spoken of.  Never acknowledged except for the times when they were blamed for whatever misfortunes had occurred, any bad feelings that were present or opportunities in the future no longer available.

The churn at the Academy for Psychic Studies has been high throughout its history.  Students would regularly stop appearing for their weekly mind-control indoctrination and ministers would suddenly vanish and their history with the Academy erased as if they never existed.

Some left on their own, for their own reasons.  Many found themselves at the receiving end of Angela Silva's Nazi jackboot or Robin Dumolin's rhinestone-studded marital aid and were unceremoniously heaved out the iron gate for unknown, incomprehensible or imaginary crimes.  Whatever the reason, the churn of ministers and students was high indeed.

Since the founding of the Spiritual Rights Foundation, over a decade of incomprehensible rambling and psychotic tantrums of the founder, and the insatiable greed and unbridled despotism of the Witches of Ellsworth Street, the ranks of the devoted began to thin.

From a high of nearly 20 devoted, enthusiastic ministers and many more young and enthusiastic students in the mid-90's, the Academy for Psychic Studies student population and loyal ministers slid further and further to the floor.  Today, there are no students and only 6 aged and otherwise physically un-fit ministerial staff remain - too beaten and worn to make an escape.

As for the significance of this decline, except for the obvious, there is a fairly significant point to be made: there has to be at least 12 people who have entered the Academy for Psychic Studies as a "serious" Clairvoyant Training Program student, proceeded to "graduate" as a staff member or have nearly done so for every ONE person remaining.

Think about it: conservatively that is 72 staff members or advanced students GONE, QUIT, VAMOOSED, FUCKED OFF against the 6 staff members who remain.  Even two of the four co-founders of the Academy have been ejected from its warm and nourishing climate into the street, rarely spoken of unless Bill Duby or the Witches needed a someone to blame.

Neither young, enthusiastic and somewhat naive students nor the grizzled, old ministers were spared the indignity of expulsion and the torture of exclusion.  While the Witches demanded their followers treat them with deference, no such compassion or etiquette was afforded a follower - and no one could avoid  offending the Witches.  If you breathed their air, walked their ground, viewed their landscape or heard their wailing, you had all the opportunity you needed to drive Angela Silva into a rage or bring an evil grin to Robin Dumolin as they plotted your punishment and utter humiliation.

In that atmosphere, it is not surprising that 12 gone for each person remaining is conservative indeed.  I haven't even included those who reached the highest level of psychotic training at the Academy for Psychic Studies and pulled the EJECT handle when they realized they were going down in enemy territory.

Those 72+ are simultaneously the lucky ones and the least fortunate ones.  Luckily they got out while they still have a chance at normality. Unfortunately, they did it after the damage was done.

There's still room for true believers at the Academy for Psychic Studies - lots of it.  As there is no one left who can say they have accomplished all their own perverted and cracked beliefs lead them to believe, the opportunity for believers is ripe and if you are ripe as well, you can count on being picked clean.

Save the cheerleader, Save the, uh... aww screw it.

If someone were considering getting more involved in the Academy for Psychic Studies I wonder what I would say if that person ask my opinion of their involvement. I don't think I would tell them to turn and run the other way.

Honestly, I think if the Academy for Psychic Studies gives you what you need (whatever that may be) then by all means, stay there. If not, then leave. It's pretty simple.

But for the prospective new member, you might want to ask a few questions before you sign on the dotted line.

If you see more people leaving in a year than joining, you may have found a red flag. The number of staff and Clairvoyant Training Program students has shrunk from the heyday of over 40 active members to a mere 6 today.  From 2009, more than a half-dozen people have left the already depleted ranks at the Spiritual Rights Foundation. Have that many people joined the SRF Clairvoyant Training Program and completed it? Well, no.

If you are seeing people writing blogs in the negative, you just may have found another red flag. And if you only find one blog in the positive (and that blog is sponsored by and has content written only by organization staff members) then you may have found another red flag.

Don't just rely on what you see on the organization's web site. It's all designed to present only what they want you to hear. Don't just rely on this one either. Make an objective and rational decision. But be sure to read between the lines...

The following is an excerpt from the Spiritual Rights Foundation web site. It is a portion of the page containing the vision of the Spiritual Rights Foundation. If it makes any sense to you, please tell me what that is. I have a Chinese computer program that looks just like it.

=========================================

The facts of a spiritual reality are taught to people who come here for the teaching of the inner truth that will set them into their freedom to express greatness. Many are called to enter these doors but few seek the truth of how to let go and let the God of their heart do the workings of arising in consciousness for self realization. The few that are sincere in their search for the truth, find it here, as elsewhere. Of course, the many who walk away do so because they are not kindred in spirit with the place or the people.

=========================================
OK, so first of all, whoever wrote this statement must have been rounding first base on the astral plane during English class. But look at this more closely (if you can do it without getting seasick).

They want those who are interested in helping themselves over society.

SRF is appealing to the selfish.

Do you have no interest in helping your fellow man? Would you rather get yours wherever you can get it? Well, when you come to the Academy for Psychic Studies. Nearly every day, you will hear: "you are not your brother's keeper."  At the Academy for Psychic Studies, it's every man for himself and every woman for whatever is left.

Nice. Any other churches out there teaching the same thing? A show of hands, please.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

You are told to "keep your aura close around you" and to "put up your separation roses". Those concepts are used to keep you from taking on the energy of another and help you to maintain separation from the rest of the disease-infected wretches who aren't part of the spiritual elite.  In fact, you'll be told to maintain separation from your fellow psychics - especially your spouse, your children, your parents, your friends, your... uh, you get the point.  Basically, you have to stay away from everyone except those at the Spiritual Rights Foundation who will guide you and lead you from the happy place you inhabit now, to the wretched and miserable existence you'll have with them.

What a great concept! Let's walk through life at an arm's distance to the people who would walk with us, while we sit calmly as our lives are systematically ripped into shreds!  Where do I sign up?  Oh, that's right.  I already did.  crap.

=========================================
Of course, the many who walk away do so because they are not kindred in spirit with the place or the people.
=========================================

So, let me get this straight: The Spiritual Rights Foundation's vision statement appeals to those selfish enough to look out for themselves over anything else. But you have to be "kindered" in spirit with the place or people in order to stick around?

Uh, doesn't that require at least some amount of altruism?

Once you get into SRF, you are told, "you have to give to live".  I think I heard that from Jewel.

Anyway, give you will.

Many who left the Spiritual Rights Foundation decry the seemingly endless hours of unpaid volunteer labor for SRF owned properties or enterprises and the never-ending handfuls of money dumped into the SRF black hole.

You wouldn't have to believe you are saving the world to fall into this trap. I guess you'd have to believe your money is your energy and by throwing into The Spiritual Rights Foundation abyss, it will come back to you in, well...  OK, so you get a free healing but we would have charged you a hundred bucks for it.

And that free labor you give to SRF will help you achieve your own personal freedom, won't it?.

"Arbeit Macht Frei" anyone?

Even if you did hope to change the lives of even just a few, as we all did, you'd put up with the abuse and the exploitation for at least a little bit.

And that was the reason so many of us spent so much time at the Spiritual Rights Foundation. We were out to save the world one person at a time. But with all the insider back biting, the people clawing over each other to curry favor with the leadership, the people positioning for a piece of the SRF pie, the real mission got put aside.

And with all the public revelations of sexual misconduct, abuse, exploitation of the membership, lies, deception and the constant maneuvering of the leadership to obtain the membership's small and hard-earned assets, the focus at the Spiritual Rights Foundation seems to have turned from putting on a public happy face in order to gain a lot of new members to putting up a shield to the public so they can loot a member without anyone looking.

How would you feel if you woke up one morning and realized your savings, your home, your livelihood, your spouse and children were usurped and consumed by a place like the Spiritual Rights Foundation.

And would anyone care?

I mean, their statement admits a lot of people will get fed up with SRF and all that happens there. Why should they care if you are one of those who get fed up - that's your problem, isn't it?

The Spiritual Rights Foundation has been constantly changing some of their superficial practices. Those changes have done nothing more than confuse and disorient the membership and frustrate potential members. Class times and durations were moved up to an earlier time, then moved back, class terms were shortened then lengthened. Class prerequisites were relaxed then reinforced then relaxed again.

None of those changes address the fundamental issue: there was no mandate to serve and no vision that inspires or promotes cohesion. As those who remain at SRF are largely less-than-well educated, and those who are educated are held in disdain, it's no wonder that a coherent vision statement cannot be formed or communicated to the membership.

If they can just get a clear vision statement written and get that bishop to pull her feet out of her mouth, they might just get somewhere.

Would you want to learn about spirituality from people who you can't understand?

Maybe not, but just drink the Kool-Ade. It'll all make sense after that.

Psychic Perversion at The Academy for Psychic Studies Cult - Do The Math - The Rev. Bill Duby Timeline doesn't line up.

Beer.  The breakfast of champions.

Now that's my kind of woman:  check out that stein!

I think she will show you what happens to boys
who don't finish their beer.

Today's guest post comes from the King of Evil, the O.G. of the Spiritual Rights Foundation dissidents.  You know him.  He's the first to fight the Witches of Ellsworth and Rev. Bill Duby and WIN!  Of course, he fought for the well-being of his family and for the freedom of his child. He is an inspiration to us all and he is one of the many people I met at the Spiritual Rights Foundation who has given me moral support and guidance through the choppy seas of our fight with this notorious cult.

Mason, you have been our lighthouse in these dark waters inspiring me to continue the fight to free the world from the exploitative behavior at the Spiritual Rights Foundation.

Mason has generously contributed his Bill Duby Timeline of claimed events.  You will see how all of Bill's claimed accomplishments jsut can't add up.  It's part of the mind control of a deranged cult leader.  He needs to show he is superhuman in order to keep his followers following and in line.

This timeline is updated with some of the Duby-ous achievements Bill told me personally and with additional Duby-ous achievements found from public sources - like the official, very public Spiritual Rights Foundation web site.  Again, Mason has inspired me to dig a little deeper in the trash heap of SRF misinformation to find a few gems.

==============================

Rev. William Duby Timeline

Bill Duby (AKA Bill Baldwin) was the founder of the cult called Spiritual Rights Foundation Inc. Over the years he told us about the things that he did and the major events of his life. The following is a list of things he claims to have done. I contend that he made up and/or greatly exaggerated different parts of it. He would only mention these events one or two at a time in different contexts for different situations to suit his needs in the moment, to give himself credibility with his students. The notion of checking his claims against a timeline never occurred to anyone before. Analysis was highly frowned upon in SRF and by Bill.

The timeline is too full to be true, even if some overlap of events is taken into consideration.

This paints a picture of a man who deceives his congregation to increase his personal power and influence in the church.  And many of Bill's Duby-ous achievements are not represented in this timeline.

First will be a list of many of the things he claimed to have done in his lifetime. Afterward will be a timeline analysis to show clearly that he couldn’t possibly have done it all.
  • Born January 6, 1945
  • Lived with father in upstate New York for a number of years
  • Mother died when he was young (Bill stated she died when he was, 6 or 8 or 9 and always claimed to have "known" the exact moment of her death).
  • Moved to Bay Area as a child (without his father. I don’t know why)
  • He was in 21 foster homes in Alameda County until age eighteen
  • He was state pole vault champ in high school (~1960-63)
[I confirmed this with Bill's foster mother. MK]
  • Gold gloves champ?
  • Went into the Army at age 18 for at least 2 years, possibly 4 years and was honorably discharged at the rank of Private.
He was not married while in the Army.
  • Attended Bible College in Galt, CA
  • Married for 12 years
  • He had two children in this marriage (this is true - we have met both of Bill's children)
  • Worked as a programmer at General Foods.
  • Worked at the US Army Induction Center in Oakland, CA.
  • Ran a card room in Emeryville with his uncle, who owned the card club.
  • He got divorced in 1971 (this is true)
  • He was seriously ill in the hospital at the time of his divorce and almost died. He said he spent a few months in the hospital.  Bill also claimed the physicians could not find anything wrong with him all the time he was hospitalized.  You would think a few months in the hospital should be enough to come up with a diagnosis - or at least for symptoms to appear.  (At this point he had to be at least thirty years old)
Then...
  • He claimed at least 200 sexual relationships with women. He mentioned that some lasted for periods of time of at least weeks or months.
  • He meditated for seven years, more or less in seclusion
  • He studied nine great scriptures in depth
  • He met Angela (one of his women) on the streets of Emeryville
  • Took care of her for a period of time to get her off of drugs (months at least)
  • He got himself mentally committed
  • He was a student of Mark Reymont from 1976 to 1981
  • He was a student at the Berkeley Psychic Institute for 1 2 years 1980 to 1982 (along with Angela)
  • He started SRF in 1982 at the age of about 36
  • He claims to have worked with at least 25,000 people in spiritual matters
  • When we worked on various construction projects, he would mention in passing that he had various construction jobs. He never really spelled out exactly when and where, but it gave him credibility in knowing what he was talking about with the projects.

Now for a simple, common sense analysis of the information:

The divorce definitely took place in 1971. It is a public record. He stated numerous times that he was married for 12 years. That would mean that he got married in 1959… when he was 14 years old.

Apart from the obvious unlikelihood of a 14 year old actually marrying, that couldn’t have happened because he was in juvenile hall and numerous foster homes until he was 18 when Bill enlisted in the Army.  Besides, during that time Bill claimed he was more occupied with the well-being of himself and his sister in their many foster homes to even think about girls.

If he got out of the army at age 20 and was married for 12 years, this only leaves at most, 4 to 5 years between the divorce and when he started the Spiritual Rights Foundation in 1982. (this is assuming that he was only in the army for 2 years and got married immediately after he was discharged.)  Bill explained away this discrepancy to us by saying he had "abandoned" his family prior to his divorce.  Unsaid was when this "abandonment" happened.

Somehow, Bill found time to attend Bible College in Galt, CA (in the California central valley) while he got married and started a family in the San Francisco Bay Area some two hours away from college.  How it is possible for William H. Duby to have started a family, supported that family, tended to his studies and have time to commute between college and his family was never explained.  How long he attended or what degree he held has never been said.  The name of the college has never been disclosed either.

Being a programmer at General Foods sounds like a stretch - that means it is very likely untrue.  First, those were the days where only the guys in white coats were allowed anywhere near a computer.  The people who programmed were not the kind of self-taught guys we have today.  You had to go to a prestigious college like Cal to learn how to do it.  There appears to be no opportunity for Bill to have learned the craft of computer programming - unless that Bible College in the middle of California farm country had a million-dollar computer lab.  The Army appears to have taught him how to use a rifle and how to patrol the Nike missile defense system for squirrels.  It is highly unlikely that a young private would be entrusted to recognize an air attack and press the button launching surface to air missiles.  And there isn't a way for a young private with only a high school education to learn computer technology in only two years.  Not in 1963, anyway.

Back then, there were NO $500 laptops and computers were so big, they needed their own damn building. The guys let near the multi-million computers were people who had really expensive college educations.  Bill famously eschewed all forms of higher education no matter the purpose.  It is plausible he would have obtained the university education he needed to program the computers of the day?  Yeah, I don't think so either.

Bill's claims of a months-long hospitalization is probably exaggerated or otherwise untrue.  Bill was famous for lifting his shirt to display a ragged-looking scar, explaining that is what the physicians cut away from his body, in an effort to treat an illness they were unable to diagnose and for which, Bill was unable and unwilling to describe symptoms.

He failed to say no person would be hospitalized for months on end without presenting with symptoms.  Further, insurance requirements (yes, even Medi-Cal would require this) as well as proper medical practice requires a physician have at least a preliminary diagnosis before admitting a patient to a hospital.  If that patient is hospitalized for months, you'd better believe a diagnosis would be required by the hospital's medical director and whatever organization is covering the substantial bill.

Bill Duby's claim he was confined to a hospital for months for an illness that could not be diagnosed is pure garbage.

I would believe he was confined to a hospital for a while, though.  It's not a hospital that would cut away a chunk of his belly fat, though.

Based on my recollection of a bottle of stuff called "Tegretol" on his desk, I'd believe his hospital specialized in psychiatric illnesses and the huge gash on his belly was somehow related to probably the up side of bi-polar disease.  Think about it: if you are so pumped on a bi-polar high you might be bold enough to say something to a person who didn't really appreciate your psychic awareness and that person answered your spiritual insights with a knife.

As far as the gold gloves champ goes, I heard something about that in passing.  But Bill was built like a pole vaulter - wiry.  He didn't have the body mass you would find in a boxer of his height.  Bill's foster mother proudly showed me pictures of "Billy" as a high school pole vaulter and kept some of the trophys and awards Bill earned for pole vaulting.  Boxing at a high level (basically a professional level) immediately after a long stint as a pole vaulter just plain isn't possible for any man.  The two sports require two different muscle groups and two very different body types.  There is no way Bill was a gold gloves boxer - unless he was boxing the Xmas decorations while wearing gold lamè gloves.

Relationships with 200 women would be for the most part after or near when he got divorced and before he started SRF. This would be approximately a 4 to 5 year period. This would mean he had about forty or fifty per year, or about four per month, average. This includes the time he was with Angela Silva, and when he was with Marc Reymont, and when he was at the Berkeley Psychic Institute (which he says he spent with only Angela), not to mention the years of meditation or months in the hospital, etc.

Bill's self-described prowess in female coition exceeds even Tiger Woods' record-setting achievements in that area.  Pair this with what he said about himself as a young man – that he was very shy and girls were not attracted to him and you'll see this dubious achievement as nothing more than a tall tale.

So, commingled with these sexual encounters were…

About six years spent at the Berkeley Psychic Institute and Marc Reymont (another spiritual teacher). We are already over the 4 to 5 years available, but let’s continue.

During this time, Bill claimed he was also a student of Dr. Gene Scott, the infamous TV preacher who was famous for bellowing "get on the phone" whenever he wanted you to hand over your money.  He never said when or for how long.  He also never could describe the facilities at Gene Scott's school.

He spent seven years or so in isolated meditation, doing nothing but lying there with his arms crossed across his chest. When? Certainly not when he was in the Army or when he was married and supporting his wife and two kids, or when he was working in the card club, or when he was in the hospital.

By the time he told his story to me, the "seven years" thing was quietly dropped, probably because Bill started to realize the timeline was as crooked as he was.  However, he did continue to say he spent a significant time in meditation lying on his bed in "the coffin pose", arms crossed over his chest and saying he would get up only to "eat, sleep, shit and fuck".

Perhaps his deep meditation happened when he was simultaneously studying the nine great scriptures.

My take: Bill shoved a Bible under his pillow while he "meditated" thinking the words would magically arise from the pages directly into his noggin.  Or maybe one of his street buddies alternately bashed him in the head with the Bible, The Koran, The Torah and any other scripture found in the gutter.

He studied the nine great scriptures. He didn’t mean that he simply read them. He clearly stated, numerous times, that he studied all of them in depth. This gave him credibility as a spiritual leader, knowledgeable in the field of spirituality and religion. How long would it take to study one of these works? Let’s say that he is extraordinary and that he could read and assimilate one of these scriptures in a few months. We would be talking about over two years for the extraordinary feat of reading seven enormous books and absorbing every key topic.  It's a superhuman task.

In fact, it is common that a true study of any ONE scripture takes years.  Ask a priest.  Ask a Rabbi.  Hell, ask one of Bill's fellow students at that Bible College!

As Bill frequently said he not only was a "bad student" and claimed to have dyslexia since he was a young boy, would Bill have the tenacity and personal learning skills to have studied any damn scripture for any longer than a few minutes?  Considering Bill's attention span lasted a few milliseconds unless he was engaged in an all-night screaming tirade about a follower's unsubstantiated crimes or just because he was too wound up to sleep, I don't think he could sit still long enough to turn a page.  Even if he did have the patience and studious discipline to study a scripture, if he really did have dyslexia, it would have slowed him down substantially.

In reality, Bill could have got through less than one tenth of one of his "nine great scriptures" in the time he had available.  That means he could read somewhere around a few chapters of the Bible - maybe it was those few chapters he made us read over and over again?

By the way, can you, the reader, name the nine great scriptures? Bill never mentioned all of them and almost never quoted from any "great scripture" except the Bible.  And even then, Bill misused and misquoted the Bible in order to reinterpret the meaning of scripture.  He re-defined the Bible to match his own twisted and perverse perspective on mind control.

He claims to have “worked with” about 25,000 people in spiritual matters. These numbers are also highly exaggerated - that means it is a steaming pile of dung.

He was making these claims in the 1990’s. From 1983 until the 1990’s he has only worked with the people who came into the Spiritual Rights Foundation. According to the associate member list, about 6,000 people had come to the Spiritual Rights Foundation from its beginning in 1982 until 1996 (and yes, that does account for the numbering system not starting at zero - so stop splitting insubstantial hairs).  And even fewer people arrived after 1996.   William Duby's claim just does not hold up.

At least one third to one half of these people only came once and/or never met Rev. Bill.  His claim would mean he "worked with" (come in contact with) about 3,000 to 4,000 people in the last 15 years.
in fact, very few people got to meet Rev. Bill Duby - only one in ten at best.

To hold water, he would have "worked with" about 21,000 to 22,000 people in the 11 years after his divorce and before he started the Spiritual Rights Foundation in 1982.

That amounts to a small audience of brand new people every day of the year with no time off for holidays. This is all going on concurrently with the above mentioned activities, including the seven years Bill spent in the "coffin pose" getting up only to "eat, sleep, shit and fuck".  So, I guess you'll have to adjust accordingly - meaning you would have to subtract seven years from the eleven years after his divorce and the day he started SRF.  That means you'd have three years to see over 21,000 people.  That means Bill would have "worked with" SEVEN THOUSAND people a year.

But that's only twenty people a day for 365 days a year.  So if each person took only an hour of Bill's time, he'd have four whole hours to eat, sleep, shit and fuck a day.  Crap, I can't even eat three squares a day in four hours.  Don't ask how long the rest takes me.

During its heyday, the Spiritual Rights Foundation saw at most 3 fresh faces per MONTH (not per day).  There were fewer and fewer of them over time.  Actually, two years after I showed up, the number of new faces we saw began to dwindle to a few every couple of months then pretty much crashed to zero by the time Bill dropped dead.

As you can clearly see he was a great con artist. No one dared to call him on any of these boasts and exaggerations lest they be placed on the hot seat and brutally shunned and chastised.

The events listed in this timeline are events that either Bill himself or the Spiritual Rights Foundation lists as Bill's Dubi-ous achievements.  The dates are as accurate as we can recall and are based again on Bill's own statements, Bill's folklore or official biography published by the Spiritual Rights Foundation.

If you take a few moments to think it through, this time line of events is utterly impossible.  There is no way any one individual can accomplish that amount of items in that amount of time.

This time line clearly shows how Rev. William (Bill) Duby concocted a tall tale to enamor his women and his followers.

But to many of his formerly-faithful, there is only one notable event:

Reverend William Duby dropped face-first
dead on the floor December 5, 2001.
