Kangaroo Court
Those accused of crimes against the people of the state have the opportunity for a fair trial (due process of law) as guaranteed by the fifth amendment of the Constitution of the United States. Even if you are facing a complaint from a private party, you still are entitled to protection guaranteed by the fifth amendment.
I know the fifth is usually perceived as "taking the fifth" and refusing to provide statements that may incriminate you but it says much more than that.
When due process of law is not provided (where the accused can defend himself and may confront and question his accusers) those judicial proceedings are called a Kangaroo Court. It's called a Kangaroo Court because it leaps over the correct due process of law and jumps straight to the conclusion - which is generally presuming the unfortunate defendant is guilty until proven innocent and not allowing any evidence to the contrary
Even military tribunals follow due process, even though, per the constitution, they don't really have to. It's the right thing to do.
As we have all seen, the right thing to do isn't the Spiritual Rights Foundation's forte. In fact, to the leaders of the Spiritual Rights Foundation, the right thing to do (when viewed from the basic morals and values we were taught as good citizens of the United States) has not a thing to do with fairness but has every thing to do with whatever the hell one or more of the leaders feel like doing, no matter if it's right, no matter if the followers are adversely affected and no matter if there is no reason to do what they want to do in the first place.
The first thing that popped into my mind was an incident where Robin Dumolin was shocked to find that the old, expired food she was planning to push off on the unsuspecting membership as a nutritious and delicious dinner casserole (for 6 bucks a spoonful) before it walked off on its own went missing. By using her superior and highly developed psychic powers, she knew instantly the name and motivation of the perpetrator.
A member who I'll call "Kenneth" was accused of eating the furry, dripping and infested slop from the refrigerator while Robin's back was turned. Immediately, Kenneth's status within the iron gates of the cult went from less-than-good to subterranean. He was demeaned as a low-life thief who preferred to steal the hard-stolen food of the Spiritual Rights Foundation's money-making enterprise than buy a decent meal of his own.
As Robin didn't actually see Kenneth steal food from her, she couldn't really say he did it. However, it didn't stop her from saying he did. And she ordered that padlocks be installed on all of her refrigerators immediately.
In classes, workshops, meetings, readings, healings, and whatever else the slave-masters had us do, we were reminded that Kenneth was the worst low-life known to mankind and that he and he alone would have the unmitigated gall, greed and disdain for the personal property of another to have literally raided the SRF refrigerator and steal the rotten, crappy food Robin was planning to con us into paying for.
I remember speaking with Kenneth at that time. He said very clearly to me "I did not take food out of their damn refrigerators." When pressed that was all he could say, knowing he can't prove a negative.
That wasn't a problem for the SRF leadership, though. Kenneth's inability to prove his innocence just proved he was indeed guilty.
So from that day, Kenneth was treated like a felon.
But what really happened?
One of the hangers-on at the Spiritual Rights Foundation is a somewhat eccentric elderly man who occasionally attends a class or workshop but spends most of his weekends cleaning up the considerable mess left in the Spiritual Rights Foundation storage areas. The bank of SRF refrigerators (now padlocked) were lined up there, holding toxic waste and other tasty items to be served to the unsuspecting membership.
One weekend, the eccentric man hobbled up to Robin Dumolin and croaked: "Reverend, I'll need you to unlock those refrigerators so I can take out all the bad and expired food"
Robin Dumolin: "huh?"
Eccentric man: "I've been cleaning out the rotten and expired food from the refrigerators for weeks now. haven't you noticed there's more room in the refrigerators now?"
The padlocks were quietly removed but Kenneth remained in the doghouse.
Why? Because at the Spiritual Rights Foundation, fairness isn't about truth. It isn't about justice either. It's all about snapping to attention and carrying out orders, no matter how wrong. It's all about making sure the leaders retain the illusion of perfection and all-encompassing knowledge and wisdom.
They don't give a damn about what you or anyone thinks. The SRF Kangaroo Kourt always hands down the correct verdict and appeals are unnecessary. The SRF Kangaroo Kourt dispenses punishment the old-fashioned way: they just beat the living daylights out of your soul, your, self-respect and every ounce of humanity you ever had.
And as Kenneth as a convenient target, he was on the receiving end of the Kangaroo Kourt time and time again. No matter how thin the evidence. No matter how wrong the verdict. No matter if the crime was indeed the responsibility of another. He was demonized over and over again and subjected to awful dehumanization, characterized as more animal than man, more insect than human.
Kenneth's treatment was far worse than necessary. Even on the SRF relaxing and rejuvenating Weekend Retreats, where the gathered faithful would otherwise quietly unwind and recharge, he was treated like a disease and portrayed to those who barely knew him as a Judas, an insect, a turncoat and worse.
His is not the only story. Many of us (me and basically everyone I knew there) faced the SRF Kangaroo Kourt at one time or another. The Kangaroo Kourt met in secret, reviewing secret evidence, using their psychic powers to question witnesses through the ether and rendering a verdict and punishment unknown to the accused until their SRF "friends" confront them with their transgressions and demand penance.
Did anyone escape the wrath of the Witches who sit on the Kangaroo Kourt bench?
No.
Someday, sooner or later, you'll be on trial. And someday, the Witches of Ellsworth will hold their tribunal of evil to decide your fate without even considering giving you the opportunity to speak or defend yourself. If they like you, they will listen impatiently before you are given the command to shut up and accept your ostracization and complete isolation from the rest of the brain-damaged membership.
If you are given the chance to redeem yourself, be sure you can afford it. Your debts to SRF will have to be paid in advance (of course, your account balance will mysteriously show you still owe money), your dedication will have to be shown in excess and the evil influences of life - your family, your spouse and your career will have to take a back seat to your nights, weekends and holidays slaving for the Witches of Ellsworth for no pay, no appreciation and no recognition.
I think I'd rather face a tribunal at Guantanamo Bay. At least the weather is nicer.
This is very accurate. What amazes me the farther I get away from SRF, is how this demeaning behavior is very akin to waterboarding in a subtle way. You don't think these little incidents like Mike described above have much effect on you. But like having water dripped on you incessantly, it quietly erodes your sense of self until you are actually giving your power over to very unbalanced people who love to use it against you. And this is the essence of mind control. Step out of line and we will socially ostracize you, publicly shame you, share your secrets with others, define who you are. etc. Actually, don't step out of line and we will do the same thing. Just being yourself is threatening to them so they will consider that stepping out of line. So you start to do what they want to avoid the pain. Mind control. Until they push you too far and you wake up. And that is different for everyone.
ReplyDeleteThe leaders of SRF are some of the most insecure people I have ever met and controlling others in this way only made them feel better about themselves, like all true abusers and controllers. And it is like a snowball effect. With each person they control, they crave more and more control. It makes them sicker and sicker. And their severe sense of entitlement to do this is nauseating. They actually believe they are doing God's work and are entitled to be financially supported by other people's labors. The leaders at SRF and all cult leaders are convinced that they are enforcing spiritual principals. They are completely unaware that they are practicing abuse and control.
Thanks for this comment, Anonymous.
ReplyDeleteEveryone I have ever know with the SRF experience has told me the same thing: the perception of imaginary crimes and accusations of failures and shortcomings are relentless and they do have a cumulative effect on your soul and your entire sense of humanity. That effect is long-lasting. Sometimes, he effect is life long.
I think I'd add that the Witches of Ellsworth are not simply unaware of their they are practicing mind control - they are UNCONCERNED they are practicing mind control.
For as long as your personal wealth is maintained, and for as long as you have an iron grip on your core members, why worry about how you conduct yourself?
I agree, unconcerned is a better description than unaware. Unaware makes them seem innocent and they are anything but innocent. They are true narcissists, only concerned with themselves and what they can get. They have zero concern for others. Other people are only viewed as resources to be used and pillaged from. They are sitting on their pile of gold and are only looking to get more and then flee with their plunder.
ReplyDeleteYou know, now that the bishop has flow the coop and their most enthusiastic follower pulled the eject handle, two of their best money-makers are gone.
DeleteAlmost no one is interested in paying for their psychotic classes anymore and of course, ISHI Hypnosis is as dead as the guy who founded it.
Add to that the fact the Witches made the foolish decision to dump hundreds of thousands of dollars into a hole in the swamp called the Blue Sky Ranch in attempt to create a place to grab even more money from their followers, I think the pile o' gold got somewhat smaller.
That the construction there was reckless and illegal didn't matter to the Witches of Ellsworth Street.
Now that Contra Costa County has demanded repairs to the Blue Sky Ranch, the Witches' pile o' gold is becoming smaller yet. What with no individual left to pay up to a thousand dollars a month (which adds up fast when you have over thirty people doing it) I would guess the cash flow at the Academy looks pretty grim.
I say the timing is great for the Witches. Bill Duby always said to use your money for God or God will use it for you.
Kind of puts the Witches' current travails in a whole new light, doesn't it?
Reading about Kangaroo court reminds me of the relentless Scapegoating which occured at the institute. It was ever pervasive. However, at the institute, you could be "booted" or in the "doghouse" simply for having bad energy. Often it was women who were pissed off at men who said that our male energy was "garbage" or something akin to it. Methinks it is more about projections than anything else.
ReplyDeleteI have heard numerous stories about how people were scapegoated and craped upon at the institute for just about anything. I experienced a few myself. I heard that after I was let go from my position at the Church, my boss was constantly "scapegoating" me for how my energy was destroying the workspace. I heard this from someone who worked for the church who quit after seeing the shit which went into the employment files.
What this former member told me is that things were put in employee files that were outright lies or plain attacks of character. She said that she was so enraged that she could not in any good concience work for them any longer.
Yeah, kangaroo court or scapegoating in one form or another, a very common practice at any cult!
Join today and see for yourself!
Oh at the institute, you could even be kicked out of a begining class for "changing" the energy of the institute. One man who was practicing Tai Chi on break was angrily confronted by a director right in class. I was present to see it first hand! The director vilified the man in front of the entire class for his "destroying the energy of the sanctuary". The whole class was still in shock by the end of the class. That lucky guy never came back or took anymore classes!
Anynomous comments are very useful and insightful. I think one thing to remember is that the people there were victims also, and perhaps still are, but as A says there is a point where they cross over to becoming a willful abuser. They have been exposed to enough evidence to see their own cult behavior, but stubbornly choose to remain in denial. At some point they choose to delight in abusing more than coming clean, like so many others have.
ReplyDeleteTo really come clean in this situation one has to recognize the the source or original abuser, which is usually Bill, but also to a degree Angela Silva, Debi Doda, and Robin Dumolin. Then one must face the very painful deed of seeing where we may have participated in abusing each other, complicitly or explicitly. This requires humility and care for each other, but, I believe, especially humility before the Lord; because ill-willed, abusive, and hateful people don't know it, but they are infested with evil spirits, and only the Lord can remove these when we approach him. But entrenched SRF lifers don't do this because the evil spirits manifest as pride and denial.
Steve's comments were accurate. Bill was the head honcho, and everything was controlled, manipulated and coerced coming from his brilliant but demented sociopath mind. Hello dictators of the world....Angela, Robin and Debi are still in lockstep with this thinking. Why else would you continue this structure of so called spiritual teaching?
ReplyDeleteAnd like a wife abuser, we were in agreement to be projected upon by Bill Duby's frail whims and insecurites. This is what he knew, and it was sick in nature. Building an entire school structure upon it only shows the foundation was made of SHIT! The more we secured our grounding cords in it, the deeper we sank with our shoulders slumped waiting to be spoon fed more deceptive lies.
Bill would make sure to have his henchwoman support his beliefs. Thus project his darkend soul on us. That includes halucinations, crippling panic attacks he eventually copped to, and glimpses of enlightenment stirred into the SRF piss pot. Trying to separate the good, bad and ugly in the cesspool/septic tank of spirituality, was a hard task. Somehow there was always a carrot dangled through mean spiritedness for those who believed in being punished, human cravings and spiritual hunger to keep us intwined.
Justifying our abuses, we kept believing it was good for us, or just plain our fault, like the wife of an abusing husband.
The energy rush they get in controlling the people, is like the gambler having money riding on a horse or sportsteam.
This was the community from which Bill Duby came. For Angela Silva, it was the rush of stealing clothes to support her drug habit. For Robin DuMolin, its about entitlement and how she should be served every second, minute, day, week, month and year while she is alive. For Debi Livingston its justifying to your kids that you were a good provider. Even her daughters could see the ends didn't justified her means. They are justifying themselves as an enabler. Hell, we all are enablers for this shit hole called SRF, The Academy for Psychic Studies, ISHI, Health and Wealth and Freedome Estates. Now its about exposing the abuses over and over again until these people are burried in the shit they had us sitting in for years.
I believe they will never cop to anything until maybe their death beds. Then, it would still be about them, not about restitution. That would interfere with the inheritances they've got pegged for their offspring. Oh well, I guess we have to wait for the movie to come out?
Thanks A, it seems to me Debi is ultra motivated to please those in authority, but would step on you like a bug once she got ahead. With her skills the best thing she could do is separate from the cult and work with integrity on her own clients; get away from the mother incubus of srf and try to step away from her perpetual adolescence. It seems to me the others are in a higher degree of evil. Only God fully knows.
