The Amazing, Unending Classes at the Academy for Psychic Studies

Someone asked what it's like to take classes at
the Academy for Psychic Studies.
Well, now you know.

The following article is quite likely the one the Academy for Psychic Studies hates the most.  First, because it's all true.  Second because, well, it's all true.

Not even one of the commenters would say none of this is true.  They only whine about people left at SRF being "hurt".  Oddly, that same commentator admits to seeing "the hypocrisy" himself.  It's a shame he didn't want to talk about "the hypocrisy".  I expect that if he did, he'd be in for a big dose of "hurt" when the Academy found out about it.

I think the people doing the "hurting" are not present on this blog or anywhere outside the wrought iron gates of the Academy.  I write an account of the real-life happenings at the higher levels of Academy teachings.  We know it's all true because we've been there and we saw it.

When the Academy for Psychic Studies made their failed attempt to sue us into silence, they could not point to an untruth here, they could only complain that I called their place "a prison".  But in the opinion of many a prison is exactly what the Academy is.

Please take this account and make of it what you will.  And take it with a grain of salt.  If those healings, readings, six-week classes do it for you, enjoy them!  Just go into the higher levels with your eyes wide open and your heart true to yourself.

======================================

The Academy for Psychic Studies is the arm of the Spiritual Rights Foundation that was formed to provide spiritual education to the public and its members.

Most of us had encountered the Spiritual Rights Foundation by way of the Academy for Psychic Studies. I have no idea why it makes sense to have a organization of a separate name to conduct spiritual education. The Academy and SRF were actually one and the same.

Classes and workshops were presented in the name of the Academy for Psychic Studies but oddly, the instructors were all ministers ordained by the Spiritual Rights Foundation. "Donations" for classes were paid directly to the Spiritual Rights Foundation, not the Academy.

Basic classes were six weeks long. Workshops, only two. Six week classes cost $140 at last look, two week workshops were $60. Those prices may have changed up or down. Probably up.

The six week classes teach the techniques of grounding, running energy and blowing roses among other topics. While there was strong emphasis on learning the basic techniques, the fundamental theory, the basic spiritual principles, were never presented. Apart from saying that the meditative and visualization techniques made you feel better, there was no real presentation of how this all works. No explanation other than it moves bad energy from your space. No sense of how these techniques are based in theological, medical or any other theory. You just had to take it on faith or leave.

Beaten into our head was the saying: To those who believe, no explanation is necessary. To those who do not believe, no explanation is possible.

I'll add this: To those who ask why, no explanation is given. To those who are asked to explain, you, well, ummm, errr... just get the fuck back in your goddamn body and ground you fucking transmedium.

Once you received training in the basic techniques, you were now eligible for admission to the prestigious Clairvoyant Training Program. In the CTP, you will develop the skill of reading the color and picture contained in the human aura and make interpretations based on what you see. The training cost some $2000 to join plus some $250 a month, over $75 a month (in lieu of performing monthly hours of word), expenses related to "field trips", fees for "retreats" as well as related expenses such as gas and meals (the training schedule is rigorous enough that there is little time for more than a quick gulp of fast food much less a healthy meal and you tend to be in the road a lot, travelling to fairs and other events to have your psychic skills paraded in front of the public).

The unofficial name for the Clairvoyant Training Program was "the year class". As originally conceived, the CTP was to last just about a year. Over time, the "year class" began to elongate. it went from a year to eighteen months to two years and eventually to as long as the leadership wanted to keep you there. My contemporaries and myself were in that class for over a decade.

As before, the need to practice the techniques are reinforced almost daily. But the spiritual or psychic basis for the need to conduct that kind of technique was never disclosed. Nor did anyone have the courage (or maybe insanity) to ask. Our job was to sit in trance and learn how to put the techniques into practice.

Only after I looked at the blog and YouTube page by Psychdoctorate did I realize the basic techniques of running energy, blowing roses and grounding were indeed the basic foundations of mind control and mental illness. With Bill Duby being there to encourage and inspire us to continue to practice and intensify our dedication in the program, we were under his spell without even knowing it.

He said often that he did not want to have a program like that at the Berkeley Psychic Institute where people went through in two years. He wanted to have a community of people instead.

Bill got a community all right. And we got a prison. Leaving was strongly opposed. Staying "in the energy" by remaining in the "year class" was encouraged daily. Even if that "year class" took more than a decade. Staying in the class (and under Bill's control) was emphasized so much that we were led into exercises intended to eliminate the desire to be anywhere but in class.

Even though the door was open, we could not leave. Our hearts, our minds our very sense of self was controlled by a madman named Bill Duby. The Clairvoyant Training Program was just the thing he needed to accomplish the mind control he desired.

Once released from your indeterminate confinement in the CTP, you would be presented with a ministerial title. And yet another class. The minister's class.

The minister's class was originally intended to train ministers in the art of psychic ministry. The teachers there were usually senior ministers - those who had been ministers at SRF and who rose through the ranks.

It became a forum to study the works of Emanuel Swedenborg and whatever Bill Duby was reading at the time. Again, everyone was required to purchase the materials and learn the contents by rote without any reason or explanation. Costs for the minister's class were higher than the Clairvoyant Training Program. A higher initial payment, higher monthly payments, a more demanding requirement to work for the cult, more demands to attend special events (many "SRF parties" were not only mandatory for ministers to attend, the ministers were also required to purchase from the supermarket food and drink to provide for this event with money from their own pockets).

The minister's class lasted a lifetime. Or at least your lifetime as a minster of the Spiritual Rights Foundation and teacher at the Academy for Psychic Studies. Many would prefer to make that lifetime as short as possible and bailed out before things got worse.

The rest stayed in the hope of achieving the enlightenment and satisfaction that being a minister can bring. Those people "advanced" to the Academy for Psychic Studies "Revelations Class" taught by the founder, Rev. Bill Duby himself.

Like the other classes at the Academy for Psychic Studies, the Revelations Class began as an attempt at biblical education. The class was formed to study the contents and meaning of the Book of Revelations in the Bible. Like other classes, Revelations Class required substantial payments. And like the other classes, the "Rev Class" degenerated into something completely different. Something scarier and sinister.

The fact is, Bill saw betrayal and deception everywhere. Everywhere but himself, that is. And there was no better place to find the true Judas of the cult than in his own Revelations Class. Ministers who served Bill and SRF were roasted in front of their peers. And that roasting was not in fun as the Friars Club would. It's more like being sandwiched in a George Foreman Grill.

In Steve Sanchez's book "Spiritual Perversion" he writes:

In Revelation Class that night Rev. Bill started berating the ministers for being phonies and not promoting the Academy. This scared me, and I finally acknowledged the constant underlying feeling that I needed to do something about it. I really didn’t want to be part of the class

In Revelation Class and others, ***** was berated heavy-duty two or three nights a week. He was in a strange position. He performed several important functions for the Academy, but he was looked down on by everyone.

Bill started teaching from the “other Bible,” ... He was reading about how the giants had perverted and corrupted the holy church of heaven, but then he said, “*****, every week you come in here spewing hate with a phony smile on. That perverts the church. You are getting fatter and lazier because you are in denial. Always in denial, everything is always someone else's fault. All these bitches are complaining about you, saying you are always late and don’t want to pitch in and do any work around here. They resent that, and rightfully so. You hate the farm, don’t you?” ***** didn’t say anything but her face twisted in confusion, pain, shame, and anger.

Bill continued, looking back deeply at *****, “You are getting fatter and lazier because you are in denial. All that anger is making you puff up because the body is psychic. It has to have some way of protecting itself from YOU, the resident spirit. Your body is going to hate you for doing this. You need to get some exercise out here. All these other people are doing it. They are all busy. Some of them have kids, too. They manage. You know what the energy is, don’t you, *****? You guys forget—I can read!”
He was starting to boil, and then suddenly said with intense fury, “I can read SHIT up a gnat’s ASS! You stupid motherfuckers! But you guys don’t believe it, do you? I’ll tell you what the energy is, since you don’t have the courage to admit it. I warned you all many times, every time I have to solve your problem for you, you lose the spirit of self-discovery and I take a piece of your soul energy.”

The above excerpt illustrates the every day occurrences in the Revelations class. No real exploration for meaning, no discovery of revelations and no bible study. Just the spewing of vile, perverted and delusional hate and degradation.  For what purpose?  To deflect blame and guilt onto the members.  To create an atmosphere of shame and yearning.  As an abused child will work to gain approval with his or her abuser, the battered and bruised members remained, hoping they would be dropped a crumb of praise or acknowledgment.  They never got it.

After Bill's death in 2001, we all expected that much of the intense and insane behavior would end. However, it didn't. The Revelations Class remained the pinnacle of verbal abuse and degradation - even with Bill pushing up daisies.

Angela Silva and Robin DuMolin made the attempt to fill Bill's shoes and continue his legacy of insanity and unrestrained hate in the Revelations class. Person after person related the verbal abuse vomited from the mouths of Angela Silva, Robin and Debi in the safe environment of The Revelations Class.  But since the mind control Bill practiced was his and his alone, their attempts fell flat. Since they are pretty dense, it took a while for them to notice how much Bill's spell was falling away from all but the most weary among the members.

The disaffected now-ex-members were not only weary of the abuse but also emotionally drained and run aground on a rocky financial coast.  After waiting for years for the abuse to end, members began to ask themselves when it would end.  They finally realized the abuse had the opposite effect from what was intended.

The subjects of the attacks woke up to the horrifying treatment levied on them.  One by one and two by two, they walked out the door.

So, if you do decide that now is the time for a class at the Academy for Psychic Studies, decide carefully. Based on what I and many others saw and experienced, taking more than the basic classes resulted in more than the spiritual enlightenment and inner peace we were promised.

In fact, my recommendation is to get no more involved than a free healing and a copy of a newsletter. You can start the barbecue with the newsletter. Or line the litter box with it.

And the free healing is good for a laugh.

A few observations:
The Year Class - it lasts a decade

Minister's Class - it takes a lifetime

Revelations Class - you want to take your life

  1. Sounds pretty accurate, but you forgot the pressure to facilitate and do stage hypnosis shows at SRF every Sunday night. Every Revelation class member was also to promote it and make flyers up on the church copier. Oh by the way, you had to get on the computer and create a flyer, pay for your time on it, pay for the copies that you printed, and at the end of the hypnosis show, you got hammered by every one in your class and told that you weren't dedicated enough to successfully get a high ranking by the group. You knew the deck was stacked against you immediately if Rev. Bill was silent and with conjecture in his voice tipped his hand to the rest of the class to follow suit. Meaning, I have a vision of how I think you should react and vote. Sometimes he wouldn't say anything, and some would initially get a favorable review, then he would cut people off and redirect how the class should see what he saw. Then, you would see those who gave a favorable review start to backtrack in there words and thoughts, and try to recover in front of R. Bill so that they would not look bad in front of others. The facilitator would be lectured, but most of the time the anxiety of just being forced to do something that you really weren't talented enough or highly motivated to learn because of the busy schedule people lead, that it was a relief to get hammered and get it over with.
Since Rev. Debbie never worked and spent all her time at The Academy For Psychic Studies/Spiritual Rights Foundation, ISHI, Health and Wealth, Freedom Estates, Liberty Construction, so she had time to be forced to become a very good psychic hypnotherapist. And she would always get an incredible review by Rev. Bill and all would agree. He would then berate everyone else except R. Angela and R. Robin on the weeks they were suppose to do the stage show. The funny thing was, they were not into doing it all either, but he wouldn't dare criticize either of them. He lived under the same roof with both of them. It would make it tough to get some action later on, if you know what I mean.
Now a days, the ministers class consists of fixing up the church owned properties either in Berkeley or out in the town of Bethel Island where they own a farm. CORRECTION: Where Rev. Angela Silva and Rev. Robin DuMolin
own properties in Berkeley and Bethel Island. Not to mention a house in Lake Tahoe. Usually that's saved for working retreats, where you pay $300 for a three day work retreat , to fix up said property through maintenance (clean, paint, weather proof, trash out appliances and junk)and you still had to pay for your meals. This is suppose to be mens fellowship. More like paying to be enslaved!
So the Sunday morning class now consists of doing work, or translate the gospels or Revelations for the 10th time. For this, you will get a Doctor of Divinity...Not to mention the privilege of paying a few hundred dollars a month. If you check out the lady of the well blog, you'll see a student currently working on this at this time. I guess she really believes this will improve her resume and status to her blog or online status?
I hope she finishes it, it will probably be the highlight of her studies there. Unfortunately the doctorate wouldn't even be worth to wipe the ass of a real graduate theological student, let alone as underlining to a habitrail!

  2. Yeah, there is a lot of things I left out. I thought if I added everything, I'd be at it for a few years with no end in sight - just like the "year class".

I'm not surprised everyone but Debi, Robin and Angela were told they were failures.

And the men's retreats I remember were usually for the purpose of repairing and maintaining the SRF property (oh, yeah, the Silva/DuMolin property) in Lake Tahoe as you said.

The retreats were some $300 each and the so-called "meals" was extra. I expect that most of the money collected was kicked back to Angela and Robin as rent and the usual expenses incurred to clean out the disgusting male presence and foul energy from property owned by the fair sex.

Most of these retreats devolved into a bitch session that usually involved the "men" insulting and otherwise degrading one or two of the attendees. Bitches indeed.

And we were strongly encouraged to attend through peer pressure and through the pressure of the leaders.

More Academy for Psychic Studies classes were the enthusiactically anticipated Friday Night Trance Class, the highly anticipated Sunday Afternoon Trance Class, the more anticipated than Sunday Afternoon Monday Night Trance Class, the so-anticipated-it's-mandatory Nights From the Stroke of Midnight to Dawn Trance, Required Volunteer Labor and Reinforcement of Indoctrination Sessions as well as the the so-anticipated-that-you-better-attend-of-you'll-never-live-it-down special Christmas holiday classes and the say-you-anticipate-this-with-enthusiasm-or-we-will-kill-you special classes with Bill.

But the importance and anticipation of those classes pale in comparison the the official Doctor of Divinity study program offered by the Academy for Psychic Studies - a program so valuable that acreditation of the Academy is not only non-existant, the Academy for Psychic Studies finds obtaining such accreditation is unnecessary.

Because, you know, if they did, they would have to be a real academy.

I am often asked how someone can spend 80% or more of their income on SRF and the Academy for Psychic Studies. Well, considering each the things they make you do incurs a fee of hundreds of dollars a month to the Spiritual Rights Foundation, getting involved with all of the Academy's activities adds up really fast. Even a few gets close to a thousand a month.

    Now can you see how?

    ReplyDelete
  3. Yes

    Yes

    Yes

I am so excited to take the Holiday classes for the 10th time in the row and spend $500 or more for it even though I don't have that kind of money lying around because I allready spent most of my money on the other classes that I have to take or else...

    or else...

I will be slipping up in the teaching

And then people will look at m e funny.

And I will hear snide remarks made by ministers about how some people can't have it. Not that they will be talking directly to me. or are they?

Oh you poor guys, you had to pay $300 to give up your weekends so you could work on 2 unemployable woman who act like they are Queens and about all the funky energy? What is your complain anyways. You should be happy, relieved, overjoyed to pay $300 to get away from all that female energy that fucks up your brain. Remember what Bill said, "Men need to sweet to release spirits." So there you go. Go up to Tahoe, pay those *&##@%*% their money and fix up their fucking property becasue why the hell should they have to pay anyone to do it when they have little subordinates to do the work for them. God forbide they act like real landlords. But mother knows best.

You ever notice how Rev. Angela would twitch and look around alot as if she is thinking someone is going to sneak up on her or the big bad energy is going to get in her space?

  4. What a strange comment I just made it was part me and part channeling of Bill Duby and all his double talk. What I would give to kick him in the balls right about now.

    Nighty Night

  5. Did you catch the Academy for Psychic Studies website as you have linked on your comment board. On the right side of it, it has make a donation to the place you love. If you click on it, it has the Spiritual Rights Foundation as the recipient of said donation. You could proudly pay with visa/mastercard or pay pal! How wonderful the feeling it is to give to the place you love and want your hard earned money to go to........Go to getting Robin DuMolin's daughter Gabriella a new hip teenage outfit to wear, maybe a new car when she gets old enough. An airline ticket for Robin DuMolin, Angela Silva and Debbie Livingston to go to Hawaii with. Your donation is well received, as it's a tax write off. A non profit company that is for profit in disguise! Its true, SRF is a wolf in sheeps clothing. They write you out a donation slip, but the monies donated don't benefit anyone but the bank of the church. The church owned by Robin DuMolin and Angela Silva. Oh I forget, Gabriella Duby as well. That's Bill and Robin's lovechild. I'm sure Robin and Angela are seething right now, at the mere mention of Gabriella making it on the blog. Hey what are you suppose to do, she is being groomed to take over if they ever actually decide they will keep the place open. Gabriella has already for years pushed her weight around with other children and the adults who still go there. She is a legitimate game player as I heard others say. So like in the criminal court cases, where a juvy is considered an adult even they are under the age of 18, they are still considered an adult. Gabriella is considered a major game player in the eyes of Robin, Angela, Debbie, Dan and Rick. Hey Robin, aren't you now glad you annointed your daughter to such a high position in the organization? You must be really proud the way others have already commented on your daughters accomplishments. I guess being a stage mother and Angela being a stage god mother has really paid off. I'm sure soon, we will get to hear all about how Gabriella grew up as a child in a cult on Oprah. That being, after you milk her into writing the book, so it could go to Oprah's bestseller list and Gabriella, you and Angela split the profits.
I can just see chapter one entitled: I'm sorry if we offended anybody mea culpa!

  6. You people are sick fucks for writing this shit about our place. To include a child of one of the members when shes not of age is truly disgusting!
I do believe I know who these anonymous people are that are writing this. While I don't have authority to speak for the people you rant about, you and they are very accurate in said comments. You've forgotten to spare children from these angry blogs you are performing in. Obviously, you are going for the maximum play on these tell all blogs, but you have really got to get a life and get over being at this place. Really, you have been through hell and back, but why keep this up, groaning on an on about what happened to you? Forgive and forget might be something of an impossibility for you people, but keep it civilized please. As someone who still goes here and sees the hypocrisy as well as you, these are still people who have feelings and you are hurting them very deeply. STOP!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Well, anonymous, thank you for your comment.

This blog is intended for all commentary in agreement or in dissent. I'm not clear on where you stand yet but if you can continue to comment, you will have your voice heard.

And this blog will continue... for as long as the need exists.

There was no one like you to chide the leadership as you are doing with the commenter here. I wish you were there to tell the leadership what you are telling us now: STOP, these are still people who have feelings and you are hurting them very deeply.

I can only wish you were there to prevent good and decent parents from losing their children, to speak up when happy marriages were torn apart on a whim, to speak out when those un-civil acts were being conducted on otherwise loyal members and to provide clarity when the hypocrisy was revealed.

But you weren't. And that damage was done. And many of those children you are concerned with suffered. Some to this day.

Please don't confuse someone's outrage over an adult's misguided or even sinister rearing of a child for a direct attack on that child. If the anonymous commenter is someone you may know, then you should know that any of those persons would have taken the tone he or she does because of concern for the child's development and the outrage over that child's exploitation by adults.

I have a no-censorship policy. Your comment will remain here as will all others. I don't tell people what to think. I ask questions. I report. You decide. (thank you for the inspiration FOX NEWS)

Again, I wished you were there to speak out when those acts were committed. If you were, we probably would not have a need for this blog.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Hi Anonymous for SRF, I appreciate your comments as well. We set these blogs up in a way where anyone is free to say whatever they want. That is just one of the many things that were not permitted at the Academy for Psychic Studies.

Yes I hear what you are saying about the children. I have wrestled with this for months. It does make me a little uncomfortable that Bill's daughters name is named here by the other Anonymous. It is sad what has and is happening to her. The other children brought up in the place are concerned by it as well.

On my blog and in several of the video's that I have started to do I mention one of the oldest children, not by name but it would be clear to anyone who knew her who I was talking about. This was a hard decision to make but I felt her story needed to be told because it is a story of all the children at SRF and other cults that were sequestered and abused.

I speak out becasue I have to for my own healing. I speak out because I care about most of the people there still. I was friends with them, I once considered them family. I want to help them but they are not encouraged to talk to me because as one of their leaders, Bishop Debbie Livingston-Bouchey said that members would be going against Jesus Effing Christ if they hung out with someone like me.

One of my main motivations for the blogs and video's is I would like to detere people from spending their money there. I want the place to go bankrupt. I want it to close so that those that are still there including Bill's child can have a chance to live their own lives. Right now these people are stuck, they can't get out, but many of them want to. If I can have any small part in getting just one person their freedom I would feel wonderfull.

I do this to break the secrecy we had to maintain while at the Academy for Psychic Studies. I do this for the people I love that are still there and don't feel strong enough to make it on their own.

But they are strong enough. You are strong enough. You just don't know it becasue you have been conditioned for decades to believe that you need the teaching to survive. I am speaking to any members now that are still there. You can do more then survive outside of the Spiritual Rights Foundation. You can prospere, find support, love, friendships that are more meaningful and life.

Life has started over for me and it can for you to.

I write becasue I care about those I left behind.

And I won't stop writing becasue it gives me a healing and it helps others get stuff off of their chest. And I believe that is a good and positive thing.

Don't you remember the truth will set you free?

  9. I've been informed that the child who "Anonymous" is upset was mentioned is approaching her 18th birthday.

Ummm, what's the age of adulthood again?

I have to ask everyone to be careful to be sure of your facts before you respond in a comment. In this particular case, the child in question is a hair away from being a legal adult, and as the original commentor said, she is at the age of responsibility for her actions. She is not of the age where she is dragging her blankie around.

If that child were indeed a young child, I'd have more sympathy for Anon. And I would probably remove all reference to that girl.

However, as we are still expressing the outrage of the actions of the ADULTS in that girl's life and the demented, dysfunctional manner in which she will inherit a legacy of abuse, deception, and deceit, those comments will remain on that basis.

I just thought I would add that bit of correction and clarification.

  10. At the institute we had similar ongoing levels. After all, Bill boy copied everything from BPI. BPI was and still is a lot more structured than SRF ever was, even its heyday, but the goals and results were the same.

    Get people in the doors.

Love bomb them! (IE give them spiritual hellos!)

Get them to take a class (First steps to mind control)

Get them into the Clairvoyant Program (Full Indoctrination)

Ministers in Training Program (Now they are well inside, time to get them ready to get others in the doors)

    Teachers Training Program
    (Learn how to indoctrinate others)

    One to One
(Overrated program, supposedly to help you deprogram yourself, or rather learn how to "audit" yourself like Scientologists can. Cant speak from experience here, never got involved)

Trancemedium Program $10, 5 to 10 years of brining in other beings. I did some stuff with the TMers a few times. The shit was quite painful and caused me to both dissociate and shut down my mind dangerously. Yeah it felt euphoric but that is not a healthy state to be in!

Then you had the Mens Programs, with weekly meetings and talks by the top staff like Lewis, John Fulton, Jon Cotton or someone else who had some "spiritual knowledge." Many times it was a mysoginistic bitch session about getting your ladies "out of your space".

The women had their special things to. Like Sundays with Susan or her special Women Trancemdiumship Lecture. Sorry cant say what went on in them, they were closed to men! Probably just a lot of hype and self agrandizement of Susan. She really liked herself a lot really expressed her Narcissism quite well.

Then of course we had all the so called regular church services where bible quotes were used to support so called truth that Jesus was psychic.

And on and on and on and on!

How much of our lives, money and energy we gave to the ever loving Supreme Being. We were involved with a spiritual "church" a special place where we learned to develop our psychic abilities.

Psychic abilities which nearly cost me my life! Psychic abilites which caused me to dissociate. Psychic abilities which dreged up anxiety, fear, paranoia and cut me off from being involved with the world. Psychic abilities that I thought were real, but in reality were nothing more the true delusions and perceptual distortions. I have my mind back now, I will never give it up again to some smarmy snake oil huckster like Lewis Bostwick, William H Duby or L Ron Hubbard. All three were cut from the same "cloth"

Not the cloth of a religious man or woman, but the cloth of mental illness. The disordered personality and the pathologically disturbed.

The cloth of the true madman!

I personally want to see these places closed forever! It will do my heart good to see them closed down! Once gone, people can start to think for themselves and develop their true higher self.

  11. To the anonymous SRF poster, yes criticisms can hurts! I highly recomend that you get used to it and possibly desensitize yourself to it. Neither Joy nor Mike is deliberately hurting you or anyone else at SRF. That is a projection in its fullest degree, your projection.

Eleanor Rosevelt said "Do what you feel in your heart to be right - for you'll be criticized anyway. You'll be damned if you do, and damned if you don't." That is what everyone here is doing, expressing what is true in their hearts and minds. That is the joy of the freedom of these blogs.

Anonymous SRF, you cannot tell someone when to heal, how they should heal, at what rate they are to heal or to "forgive and forget." This is truly demeaning and degrading to the individual who has suffered and shows a true lack of maturity, empathy and sensitivity. True sensitivity was destroyed in everyone who attends places like SRF or BPI. True sensitivity like Joy and Mike are now reclaiming are those things which make us strong and vital human beings!

In regards to the points about children, there are laws which protect children from deliberate harm. I have been and will become a mandated reporter of child abuse. If SRF were to be investigated what would be found? I do no know, I have never attended, but by comparison to BPI, it is clear that there have been serious abuses of children and their well being has been in jepoardy. I have been seriously reminded that if I do not report suspected child abuse, when working in various positions, I can be in serious trouble and possibly loose my job. Personally I would never want to risk the lives of any child and would rather have things come back clean than take the risk I was wrong. The articles about the fights fathers had for their children are disturbing to say the very least. I can only imagine what it was like for Steve Sanchez to try and protect his own.

  12. Apparently, a current male SRF member was the "Anonymous" guy who wrote the comment telling us to get over it and stop "hurting" people deeply.

    I am shocked.

Shocked that a veteran would lose his testicular fortitude and replace it with the language more appropriate of Oprah.

Shocked that a robust and morally upright man would whine and wail like a girl who lost a hopscotch game.

Shocked that even though he admits to seeing the hypocrisy, WE have to be the ones to shut up about it.

His comment for us to shut up is in itself enough to warrant removal of his comment. However, since we are all having a good laugh at his expense, that's punishment enough.
