Pulling Page Rank

I couldn't have asked for anything better:

In fact, I didn't plan for that to happen.  It's probably because the only good things said about the Academy for Psychic Studies and the Spiritual Rights Foundation these days are those coming from the Spiritual Rights Foundation themselves.

I'm not so sure what they are saying about themselves other than they aren't what they are and they haven't done what they have.  But I would guess they are trying to position themselves as a great place to be, while wondering how to make losing your life savings, losing your marriage, being estranged from your children and family sound like a GOOD thing.

At any rate, that this blog is prominently placed is a tribute.  At least, I guess it is.  Maybe it's just a way to say I talk too damn much.  Maybe it's a way for the Witches of Ellsworth to make even more distortions and lies in another lawsuit.  Whatever.  What I do know is that my prominent placement on Google has nothing to do with me doing anything more than write. No SEO tricks, no fiddling of the Google Page Rank.  Nope.  Just writing.  Lots of writing.

I guess the fallout is that any web-aware potential victim will come in with a lot of unwelcome questions and would then be quickly heaved out the door - if they get there at all.   Or maybe their friend will call and say "Dude, it's a CULT! RUN!".

I think those who are careful will take a moment to take in the evidence and consider both sides of the SRF story.  And they will make their decision.

Unfortunately, some will not.  And some will just dive in without checking the pool for water.  No one can help them, unfortunately.

As Bill Duby kept saying "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink."

Unfortunately when Bill's horses wouldn't drink, he brought out the whip and sharpened his spurs.  Bill's horses bear the scars from being led to the brink and balking at drinking the Kool-Ade.  Some of them are still drinking.

The prominence of this blog and the prominence of information from sources outside the Spiritual Rights Foundation has to be galling to them.  And I bet they are hoping for a way to stop that information from being visible.  After all, you can whip and spur a horse for only so long before he turns around and kicks you in the chest.

Well, I know that Angela Silva filed a suit against Yahoo! alleging a breach of consumer warranty because those opposing sites appeared when a web surfer typed "Spiritual Rights Foundation".  That didn't go so well. Just try typing "Spiritual Rights Foundation" in Yahoo!

Bummer.  This blog appears there too. So much for THAT lawsuit.

Off to Amazon, where they claimed that because a consumer reviewer of Steve Sanchez' book "Spiritual Perversion" referred to the "Spiritual Rights Foundation" AMAZON was liable for usurping the copyright of the SRF name.

After Amazon's army of very well prepared attorneys stopped laughing, SRF was dispatched as quickly and completely as swatting a fly.

And their direct attack on me and everyone I care about to close this blog down failed miserably.

I happen to know that Yahoo! and Amazon are represented by some very large, powerful and tremendously skilled law firms.  I remember Angela Silva telling me that she had instructed her attorney to file a lawsuit against them and that she felt confident of victory.   I asked who her attorney was.  It was the same guy who filed suit against me - and got his ass handed back to him on a platter.

I guess that's why those cases were dismissed.

Too bad the Witches of Ellsworth have a bad memory.  They forgot who they were dealing with.  They forgot that I know the law far better than they do, and apparently better than their attorney.

I attracted an attorney who is skilled, smart (in fact, brilliant), hard-working and diligent.  He created a brilliant legal defense that brought the Witches of Ellsworth to their knees and forced them to comply with the even hand of justice.  I believe they like to say like attracts like.  With their sloppy, inaccurate, distorted, merit-less and legally incorrect lawsuit as an example, who or what are they attracting?

And who is being attracted to this blog?

I'll tell you who:

people who are looking for recovery from a cult experience

people who are looking for the truth about the SRF experience

people who need to know their experiences with SRF are not just a bad dream

However you became attracted to this blog, leave a comment.  If you like this blog, that's great.  If not, be careful of your comment.  If you leave the usual incoherent cursing and rambling fulminations you may find your comment posted prominently for everyone to laugh at.

But be happy.  At least everyone will be able to read it.
