Oh my God! I am having flashbacks of everyone and everything I experienced while there. Debi Livingston Boushey inducing guilt trips of time, energy and money with her famous line..."Don't you want to support your church?", when soliciting donations and strong arm tactics to show up at monthly retreats..$300 a pop for brainwashing over the course of a 2-3 day weekend. Of course, for an extra fee, you could come early and use the facilities, farm, Tahoe house, and show your loyalty!
ReplyDeleteThere would always be a few who follow in the footsteps of the management and ask for financial help, and then turn on you when it was convient, or better yet, act like they don't owe you anything and act as if its a blessing and a lesson to be burned by them.
