Well, I searched for "smoking hot" and was

Could be worse. Google might have given me this guy:
As the Witches of Ellsworth Street look dejectedly at the ruins of their evil and deceitful enterprise, they still aspire to the kinds of riches, control and exploitation they enjoyed at the peak of the Academy for Psychic Studies reign of terror.
The problem is: there's no one left to terrorize.
Well, I guess that obsequious and grotesque excuse of a hit man and enforcer is left. I guess he's getting what he wants (daily kicks in the ass) and the Witches give what they want (daily kicks in the ass).
And the elderly and decrepit hangers-on are still hanging on. They have to. The Witches had them so isolated, there's no one outside the cult they can associate with.
So the one middle-aged perfume merchant is still hanging on. Good thing he has a roomful of oils. He'll need it to ease Robin's weekly lower colon inspections.
As the remaining aged and discouraged leftovers of a heyday long past are now so beaten they can't protest when the Witches make even more insane demands, the terror we used to experience has dulled to resignation. There's only so much abject terror the human mind and body can endure. After years and years of abuse, like the abused child - the mind re-shapes the trauma into routine. What once was terrifying is now familiar and when that happens, the mind is completely desensitized to abuse just like the boy in Suzanne Vega's song.
So, teaching $160 mind control classes that profit no one but the Witches, constantly shilling worthless yet expensive psychic services and making themselves appear as happy and fulfilled as they can make themselves continues to this day.
Too bad no one gives a shit...
Even a casual observer of the Academy's decrepit web site will notice few classes besides Meditation 1 and Healing 1 are ever offered. There was a glimmer of psychotic hope when a few people showed up at the San Jose location to take an introductory course of psychosis. Unfortunately for the Corpulent Turd, those students vamoosed never to appear again. Looks like even more of the Witches shoe prints will appear on his broad seat of his pants.
Anyone familiar with the Elizabeth Kubler-Ross stages of grief can see exactly what's happening here: the Witches are firmly implanted in stage one of grief - denial. Well, maybe they are in stage two - anger. However, as the Witches are in a constant state of simultaneous anger and denial, it's got to be pretty damn difficult to be sure which stage they are really in.
How often did the Witches deny there was anything wrong with the way they did things? Even after several negative press reports (in print, the web and on broadcast television) they steadfastly not only refused to answer honest opportunities to tell their side of the story, they demonized the former members who spoke the truth. The truthful revelations from former members ignited a public firestorm of scrutiny and rebuke.
The publication of Spiritual Perversion fanned the flames in a broader sense by bringing the public into the personal story of one of the Academy for Psychic Studies' most brutalized victims.
Of course, this blog has kept the flames burning by expanding the reach of the truth through the world wide web and proving the electronic pen is a lot mightier than the Academy's dull and rusted sword.
As these events built over the years, the dam of pent-up frustration began to overflow among the remaining members. The Witches too.
In their relentless quest to squeeze more nickels, dimes and quarters from their weary members, the Witches round up the troops and demanded a million-dollar revenue stream. How that was supposed to happen wasn't said, nor was that the Witches' concern. They just wanted it.
The Witches of Ellsworth Street applied more and more pressure to the haggard troops for whatever the Witches craved for themselves and the Golden Child. After all, God didn't give a damn if the followers had nice cars, new clothes, jewelry, retirement savings or personal real estate but He damn well wanted the Witches to have them.
So intense was the pressure, people quietly left the fold one by one and two by two. The bishop was the one person charged with processing the departures and obtaining the money the Witches wanted to allow the unfortunate ex-member to leave unmolested and live in freedom from their hit man's harassment.
However, after a few short years of manipulating the membership and carrying out the perverse orders of the Witches, the loyalty of the Bishop was rewarded: her church stipend was cancelled and her share of income earned from her own hypnosis sessions and classes was reduced to 20% - an untenable situation for the Bishop. Obviously, the Bishop parted company.
Immediately afterward, the last set of SRF holdouts pulled the ripcord. The Witches were left with no one.
That watershed event was over a year ago. It was, by all accounts, the death knell for the Academy for Psychic Studies and for the Witches of Ellsworth Street.
So of course, the right thing to do would be to liquidate immediately, take the money and head for the hills.
The right thing has never been in the Witches' playbook.
The Academy for Psychic Studies continues. Maybe it's limping, gasping for air and debilitated but it's still there.
Now that the Witches are more vulnerable than ever and more dependent on their real estate earnings and public acceptance to sustain them, wouldn't now be the best time to show mercy, wouldn't now be the best time to be understanding, warm and nourishing?
What the hell have you been smoking?
When have the Witches helped up a follower without a quid pro quo?
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
And when have the Witches took advantage of someone in a vulnerable state?
OK, put your hands down. I can't possibly call on all of you.
So, as the Witches swing wildly from denial to anger and back again, I believe now is the time to do unto them as they have done unto us. I believe we can bring to them all the psychic warmth and spiritual nourishment they have bestowed on us.
Well, I guess that psychic warmth and spiritual nourishment is more like gratuitous humiliation and unfounded revenge when practiced by the Witches.
In that spirit, I will announce to you that the Witches' current travails with the former Blue Sky Ranch may be traced right back to this blog and the blog author.
That the Witches can create a half-million dollar illegal monstrosity and foist it upon an unwitting buyer was disturbing to me. Not only that, that WE were involved in the creation of that monster was even more disturbing. More disturbing still was that the Witches were all too eager to attract the toddlers of their members to come stay at the illegal quarters of the former Blue Sky Ranch.
Concerns for the safety of the followers and their children never entered the Witches' deranged minds. Fair pricing for a buyer of the illegal structure wasn't a thought. Getting more than their fair share certainly was.
Still, I have to thank the Witches for making the creation of a compelling and unimpeachable complaint to the Contra Costa Building Inspection Division so easy. The ad the Blue Sky Ranch's realtor broadcast helpfully included photos of the illegal construction, allowing the inspectors probable cause to investigate. That a now former member included pictures of toddlers in the illegal living spaces gave the inspectors the sense of urgency to act.
Such blunders by the Witches made if all too easy to make them account for their arrogance and disdain for safety, the law and human decency.
Oddly, the Witches said the same damn thing about me when they sued me. Too bad they were smacked down there too.
The Blue Sky Ranch debacle isn't the only overtly illegal or questionable activity the Witches engage in. Nor would it be the last, I suspect.
But even the Witches can't deny the truth: they are walking around with a "Kick Me" sign on their back, and it's written in their own handwriting.
I'm sure that's another thing they'll be angry about.
